Today, The Black Scholars Index celebrates Margaret (Bush) Wilson. She became the second woman of the color admitted to practice law in Missouri and was a renowned lawyer. She was past board chairman of two historically black colleges and became chairman of the national NAACP board in 1975 serving 9 terms.
