I was on browsing on Facebook when I came across my local radio station's status post. The post commemorated the memory of Mr. Luther Vandross.
It was today, July 1, 2005, that he left this earth.
This singer mastered the art of music and singing.
His voice could make the hairs on the back of our necks raise.
The music he wrote always talked about love and relationships.
What is your favorite memory of Luther Vandross?
I did not know that he was the one who wrote the song in the Wiz "Everybody Rejoice".
This was the song that people were singing, "Can you feel the Brand New Day".
And It was he who taught me to "Wait for Love"
May God Bless his soul for creating great music.
