Al -Quran contradiction- Did one of Noah's sons die in the flood? (248 hits)

Continuation of contradictions in Al Quran (Abdullah Yusef Ali Edition)

Answer: YES
Surah 11: 42-43 (Hud)
Verse: 42
So the Ark floated
With them on the waves
(Towering) like mountains
And Noah called out
To his son, who had
Seperated himself (from the rest):
"O my son! embark
With us, and be not
With the Unbelievers!"
Verse 43:
The son replied: "I will
Betake myself to some mountain
It will save me from
The water." Noah said:
"this day is nothing can save,
From the Command of Allah,
Any but those on whom
he hath mercy!' -
And the waves came
Between them, and the son
Was among those
Overwhelmed in the Flood.

Answer: NO
Surah 21:76 (Al Anbiya)
Remember Noah, when
He cried to Us aforetime:
We listened to his prayer
And delivered him and his
Family from great distress

Answer: NO

Surah 37: 75-77 (Al Saffat)
Verse 75
In the days of old
Noah cried to Us,
And We are the Best
To hear prayer.
Verse 76
And We delivered him
And his people from
The Great Calamity
Verse 77
And made his progeny
To endure on this earth;

Noah's posterity survived the Flood in the Ark, while the rest perished.

Okay Surah 11: 42-43 says that one son perished, while Surah's 21:76 and 37:75-77 says that none of the sons perished.
That is a major contradiction of a simple historical fact that Ham, Shem, and Japheth, all survived the Flood and re-populated the earth.
