How to Destroy Procrastination By Teacher X. THE GOD ON ME one of the brothers (73 hits)

We all feel there's something we should being doing something so
important, that it could shape our day. We generally forget what it is
we have to do and still try to get to it. We wonder aimlessly like a
chicken missing its head. It makes us so frustrated and it ruins our
whole day. In this we grow seriously tired. You have gone all day and
didn't get anything important accomplished. You have to reschedule
everything for later in the week. You're behind at work; everything is
in turmoil. Now we have to reschedule important appointments to keep
other important appointments. We are unable to get proper rest in bed
thinking about the failures of the day. We usually lie in bed a couple
hours and fall asleep. We really shouldn't allow the failures of the day
to live mortgage free in our minds at anytime. It is in those hours we
should catch up on the little situations. This is valuable time of ours
that can be used to catch on the little situations so we can focus on
the bigger situations. We don't have problems, we only have situations.
It's really hard to do financial business so late in the evening, so
the smaller situations like writing reports repairing the light fixture
taking out the trash would really make the next day easier. It's not
illegal to take out the trash after you are in for the evening. What
happens is when the next day come, we leave the keys to office on the
counter or left notes for the meeting because we decided that the trash
had to be taken out before we left for work 20 miles away. We knew that
last night during the chapters of a novel, or watching our favorite
movie on a dvd
we own. We should treat things, like taking out the trash and the dry
cleaning or something that is mildly important like it is an appointment
with the boss for a raise. It has to be completed. Something simple
like putting off the dry cleaning or mailing a letter can change

1.
Step 1

I realized that lying the bed for two hours agitated until I went to sleep and getting a report finished or catching up on paper work until I fall asleep, was the same thing. The former kept behind and
the latter got me ahead. If I had free time to watch the super bowl, or
any live event, I could finish small tasks and even get help from
friends while the event was on. I may've missed a play but my friends
will paint a picture of what just happened and I'd see it on replay many
times. I'd probably hear about months after it's over. I didn't miss a
moment of anything. I had time and could afford to do a report. If we
have a lunch break, we should try to accomplish a small task. I can eat
when I get home. If today is Tuesday and I have hour extra I would try
to figure out what has to be done on Thursday and do it. I do this so I
can have an extra hour on a Thursday to possibly clear free time for
Monday. If you have a meeting with a client later in the week, see if
you should see them earlier. I normally schedule a lunch meeting to
entice them to meet me earlier. I began to reschedule earlier
appointments to keep other important appointments. I found out that
doctors, business owners,
clients, family and friends loved this. I'd given them free time to
schedule more appointments, or spend more time with me. I'd call a few
days to later to see if others had cancelled an important appointment
like seeing the doctor to keep another important appointment like a job
interview or deadline. Remember procrastination get everyone tied up !
2.
Step 2

Anything that wasn't important I removed it. Things that did not make me or break me, I moved it away until a later time. I like to read the newspaper the cartoon section of the newspaper wouldn't make or
break me. I allow like teenage kids to read it and then tell me about
it later. This is like their personal super bowl, to be able to tell dad
something funny. This is what it happened. It had given me an extra 20
minutes of free time to schedule appointments for the week or follow up
with leads. Most tasks appear to take hours to do but it only takes a
second to start it. When you start it you find out it really didn't take
that long. I believe we confuse similar situations that took longer
with one that will take 30 minutes. I usually prepare dinner between 12
and 2pm instead of 5-7. I Place the food in sealed containers and heat
it later in the evening. I eat leftovers so I figured it would be ok to
prepare dinner a few hours early. I now have 2 extra hours in the
evening to complete a few more tasks of the day or prepare for the next
day. I only have control of today I have to prepare to take control of
tomorrow.

Texts and emails have literally changed to world to move at a faster pace. You can even have your utility statements emailed to you. Send texts and emails to yourself about important reminders. You can now
email your cell phones. Send to family and friends so they can
make sure you don't forget. These two will be power tools in the
reconstruction of your time after procrastination has destroyed it.
