SAINT,, Thank you for this attempt to have real sit down with members of bia the lines have been drawn the battle is religion,that is where it all comes from . if you dont believe in what i believe then your no good and worthless my religion is is the best of all, my god is bigger then yours! people have started wars over religion and here at bia its the same thing ! if you say something against what i believe or question my religious beliefs you are a lo life the scum of the earth and all that dont side with me will be dealt with .and when i write about my religion you better agree with me even if you dont like it or i will do you like i do the rest of the people that come against what i believe in ! so out of loyalty to me none of my so called friends will never say a word against me even if im wrong ! if i give you a good comment on your post then we are friends and no matter what you say good or bad i will not stand up for what is right ! people that dont want to stand up and say thats not right,, are in fear,fear of being called a trader or a outcast or being talk about ! once you get religion out the way this will be a better place and then we can come together as a people and get things done !

A person comes into a scheduled event, LATE;

the event has been going on for a long time; with people that were on time and working, progressing and socializing.

the LATE person busts through the door and into the crowd and makes a statement,"I want to know why BIA is going to POT"----

this is the typical stereotype that BIA Preamble addresses----

LATE negros, with NO idea what has happened--thinking that they are qualified to joinLATE and then make anASSUMPTIVE statement like your blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag.

There is No pot here, Unless;

YOU brougth it here; and I am going to call the police, as any Citizen would; to maintain Law and Order as Governed by President Baraka Hussein Obama.

I am of the opinion that this is not only with religion; its racism, egos and lack of respect that has been taking place. I am not a senior member here, but since my going BIA... I've had clashes with a few members.... In a certain degree I am with Jen, sometimes it's best to "say nothing" for the sake of peace.

There are different religious beliefs and some whom feel that religion is personal and should not be discussed in a forum, but that's the beauty of it all.... Everyone has a right to believe what he or she wants to believe, and one who doesn't believe has their right to their beliefs. When one religious crosses his beliefs and ideas against another and talks about the other's belief .... Confrontations will happen. Disrespect against religion or for the sake of religion is wrong...

I have also witnessed super egos, because I have this degree or I am a veteran this or that... It makes me smarter, better or wiser than you. Still wrong idea... Just because I am a Nurse, doesn't make me a health care expert. There is someone who always knows more or just may have more experience in a certain area, which allows this person to have more knowledge.

Also I have encountered the Segregationists... This baffles me …. What has been happening here on this forum is more validity to the notion… Black Americans cannot unite together. We cannot live on a portion of the continent as one… We can’t get along… We want to come together; yet we disrespect each other.
I have met some wonderful people on this site.. I have debated with some, disagreed with some, but I still have respect for each of them…
My biggest and I say this all of the time, derogatory, degrading use of the English language. ((If I don’t like the N word directed at me…. Then why use the N word?))

We all need to check ourselves.. I am including myself more so...

Jake, I'll use you and me as an example. I at first took you for a previous member who used to always call me an Edomite. You on the other hand talk about Edomites, but don't make a point to *call* me an Edomite, though you may think I am. We started arguing about the Hebrew alphabet/language, but when I realized you were expressing your beliefs and not making a personal attack, I backed off and we now keep our conversations civil, though still disagreeing on the term Edomite. I will tie this in with another point farther down.

Robert is Muslim and I am not. But I (and others) have learned much from his expression of his beliefs, many of which I take as truth. He does not attack Christianity. When he says paganChristian, the key is in the word pagan. So Christians like myself and Clark, understand it is not an attack on us personally. There are many Christians, Muslims, an ND Buddhist, etc. on this site but we don't attack each other's beliefs. As Robert says, Many of us have been here a long time, we are more than friends, we are family. You have to recognize Robert is our family.

Craig is an atheist, but he is part of the family too. Our family has many discussions about religion, but that is different than warring over religion.

Now we come to a sticky point. Siebra was the first to welcome me to this site, she has spoken of the whiteman the devil, as have other NOI members. But Siebra has never attacked me as the whiteman devil. On the contrary, Siebra and I a friends and have never had an argument. This in spite of the fact that she knows well the strong friendsship I have with Robert though she and Robert are at extreme odds.

So there are two key points to be made. One is to stay out of other members disagreements. To take sides is fatal, it has the effect of drawing battle lines.

The second is this, when religion is used to support Black Nationalism, as in the case with Jamal, Harry, and perhaps yourself. I won't say I know this fro a certainty about you, but it's a question at the back of my mind. But with Jamal and Harry (and Solomon) it is clear.

The majority on this site, in my experience, are not Black Nationalists but wish to see a unified America. What is ailing BIA right now is that the conversations have become focused on 1) personal enmity, and 2) racial division ( and I do not believe in race but use the word because many still do), rather than acknowledging we are all one family, there are serious problems to be discussed and solutions looked for, and a family divided will fail. The dominance of religion and race in our discussions keep us from our mission, which are the subjects of educational and economic disparity. It is the responsibility of the BIA Family to put aside our personal issues and focus on the common good for our American society. And when we can clean our own house, maybe we can move on to address these same issues in th Global community.

Jake, it is not so easy to determine the majority/minority issue. It was the majority of Americans who voted our first African American into the highest office. And there are many African Americans who were voted into office withe the help of European Americans. As an aside, Caucasian is an old term that has about as much meaning as Negro. As you said, not to pick a fight. And I agree with Robert, the concept race started with the paganChristians. We need to recognize that many European Americans (and other Americans with various ancestry) unite with African Americans, as all American. This change is good, and it is much evident among our young people.
And together we have the power to change who is the majority/minority.

I'm chiming in here late, but after reading Clark's comments feel the need to clarify my previous outbursts to David J:

I jumped his ship b/c of how he was going after my man Robert. It's kind of like when I was in elementary, I walked into a bathroom and saw two large white boys jacking up one of my smaller black friends. I dropped everything and just went off -- w/o asking any questions. So I blasted David's ass in this public forum. Did I have a problem w/him that I could have settled personally? No. I don't even know this brother. But he was jacking one of my personal friends. (If one can have a "personal" friend in cyberspace.)

Lastly, [S]aint: you're too young to be misspelling all these words, brother. Keep a dictionary on your coffee table and download an app for your computer; when you come across any challenging word, verify the spelling. It'll only help you in the long run. Trust me. People judge how smart you are by how you communicate.

Saint, I definitely feel where you're coming from brother. Thank you for reminding us about the preciousness of time. I spoke with Brother Earl Brown before he left, he shared how disappointed he was about the attacks on our members and how the attacks on the members is causing BIA to become less and less of what it should be.

I'm 29 years old and grew up in a Black Muslim household, and I was made aware of the evils of racism from an early age. And since I am always interested in knowing more about our history as kings and queens of this world, that is why I am here. I mainly browse BIA while here at work, and YES for me it is refreshing to read discussions on current issues and events from other Brothers and Sisters whether they be NOI, Christian, Buddhists, Hebrew Isrealite, Pan-Africanists, Black Panthers, etc. It helps keep me open-minded and sharp, because nobody on the "Job" is discussing things on the level that we do on this board. And since some of us are no longer able to experience "Black Consciousness" in the street, it is no wonder that people seek out sites like these and meet up in this Open Forum.

I'm not saying we can't have any fun, but if we are going to inform and educate one another, we need to be fully engaged in the devotional and active life of a TRUE educator. With that said, I do think that constant Name Calling, constant Mocking of others Religious Leader and/or Sect, and just general and outright disrespect should be eliminated. THAT in itself is a ABSOLUTE waste of time and energy!!! IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE DIALOGUE AND IN REALITY YOU ARE NOT REPRESENTING WHAT YOU CLAIM TO REPRESENT WHEN YOU ARE MOCKING A PERSON(S) FOR THEIR RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION. YOU ONLY SHOW HOW CHILDISH AND IMMATURE YOU ARE.

Going forward, let us leave our egos aside and rise above our pettiness when expressing our views. We can address the issues without turning it into a personal attack. Remember from everyone you meet, in person or on the Web, you learn something new just by having met them and from everything you do, you learn something new just by having done that thing. This is what is meant by the saying 'We all learn from each other.' People sharpen People as Steel Sharpens' Steel.

No Saint, it only lists H.S. diploma b/c there was no option for 6th grade education. That being said, it only proves that one can educate himself if he so chooses. Which is why I have said constantly that there is no reason to be dumb in this era in which we live.

There are reasons and there are excuses -- know the difference. Typing from your Palm is no excuse for not knowing the difference from pose and poise and too many other errors to mention. Study to show yourself approved

Hello to All,

Let me say this before I begin. The spirit of God is moving among Black Americans for the first time since we were a made people by White people 500 years ago solely for the purpose of slave labor. Now that slavery is over, the question is what happens with Black Americans? Naturally, this problem is God problem to resolve. Same scenario and concept of the children of Israel in the days of Moses. Am I making any sense with you all?

Therefore, Black Americans are not going to POT as in shambles! Black Americans are a very ignorant people and for legitimate reasons. Now, why we are some very ignorant people are because we have been trying to solve our problems the same way for 500 years without any positive results. For instance, Black Americans do not know who they are since they believe that they are African-Americans, Black Hebrew Israelites etc. Consequentially, that is a problem of itself, but indicative of ignorance, am I right.

So, now that we have a genuine prophet among us what you ought to do using your best intelligence is to compare what you think is the way as to what our prophet say is the way. I have said that our only permanent solution is that we desire to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to worship God, pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way.

However, many of you all believe that White America’s education is our solution, am I right. Many of you all believe that President Obama is our solution. This kind of thinking is indicative of our ignorance. Am I making any sense? You all do not seem to understand that education is a very valuable resource. Education ranks up there with national security. Do you all believe that White America will educate Black Americans to be as smart and wise as they are? Again, you all thinking is indicative of extreme ignorance. Black Americans must educate themselves. Not everything about God creation has been discovered yet. Therefore, Black Americans still have the opportunity to discover what has not been discovered yet. But, first, we must anticipate our sovereignty. Am I making any sense with you all?

Black Americans need to understand that since our problem is God problem as well common sense would tell us that God would rise up one from among us that will have our permanent solution.

Let us compare and contrast the children of Israel. Did not God rose up Moses and through Moses God permanently resolved the bondage and slavery of the children of Israel? Therefore, the same will happen for Black Americans.

In other words, Black Americans are not to be looking outside of themselves for any solutions to our problems. That is White America, Japanese, Africans, Chinese or any other people could solve our problems permanently. It will have to be one from among us that our problems will permanently be solved.

So, while you all are sucking up to Mr. Richard Kigel and Steve Williams is indicative of your ignorance since these two men cannot solve our problems.

There is so much for you all to grasp, but you all are having difficulties just understanding that you are Black Americans and nothing else. There are many hurdles that Black Americans must understand as well as overcome.

So, no, Black Americans are not going to POT as in shambles.

I believe that you are utterly wrong. What each of us needs to do is come to the table with uprightness and honesty no matter what our beef may be. In other words, when you come to the table honestly and uprightly you will naturally recognize an honest and upright respond. Since, the person is upright, honest to begin with they would be able to see, and except that, they are wrong if that were the case.

For example, I told you that the Declaration of Independence is a document of ownership. I meticulously explained all the aspects of my point. What you did in turn to avoid admitting that you were wrong you through the Constitution in the mix when both documents are entirely separate of each other.

I adamantly asked you did the Declaration of Independence show that White America (the 13 colonies) acquired ownership from King George III of the territory of what was then America. To this day, you will not answer my question.

Clark you need to be as upright and honest as you speak otherwise you are nothing but a hypocrite.

I can say it's not always been such back and forth name-calling. There were many times it was a beautiful to be a part of BIA. I still find that savage is wanted. It has a lot to do with words. We have to show kindness in order to receive it. And to receive it we have to have inside the beauty of kindness. As long as we go against the grain of compassion, you'll find conflict. Everyone can be kind, but not everyone will be. That's what I see is happening. Some words are better left unsaid if they are to stir up wrath. Other words are needed to aid in peace. All words should be chosen carefully, with diplomacy and with respect. This we definately require more of...or this will probably continue. It's meets me best to refrain from feeding those whose principles are against calmness.
