My parents love this music and I wanted to play this from a legendary congas/percussion salsa superstar. "Puerto Rico tiene guarare....."
Ray Barretto raised in Spanish Harlem and influenced at a very young age by his mother's love of music, and by music of musicians such as Duke Ellington and Count Basie.
The Palladium was a hot spot club for Mambo/Salsa music back in the day. It is now called the Iridium Jazz nightclub, located at 1650 Broadway (51st street) in Manhattan.
