Power of the African Soil II---Middle Kingdom (301 hits)

The 6th dynasty marked the beginning of the second cycle or second phase of Mizraim's greatness known as the Middle Kingdom. The capitol of the united Kingdom was Memphis and was taken over by the formers of the revolution. Royalty sought asylum where ever they could. During this time, it was not too great to be Royal. Many of them moved further south to their original home.

The political powers were eventually overthrown and the country was reunified. A national renaissance was achieved and the leaders of that rebirth was effected by Black dynasties from the South. Among the captives who had to be dealt with, were white slaves captured in raids into the lands of what is now known as the Middle East. Since the original people from the Middle East, according to the bible, were descendents of Ham and Shem, both Noah's sons, they were relatives and if Ham was black then Shem was too.

The white captives from those areas in the now Middle East drifted south from far north of the Caspian sea and were survivors of the wurm glaciation.

During the ninth and tenth dynasties, the capitol was seated at Herocleopolis. The reunification was not solid so from time to time, there were duel reigns during the period of Anarchy. Thebes in the North was the traditional government and considered legitmate. After 200 years of rebuilding, Mizriam was unified about 2065 BCE, and southern kings were the unifiers.

The 11th dynasty was founded by the prince if Thebes. Such Pharaohs as Mentuhotep I cerca 2100 BC. received the credit. According to Diop, Pirenne believed that the power seat caused landed property to revert to the government. By the 12th dynasty, the administration had full power. Pharaoh Sesostris I was a black pharaoh of the 12th dynasty. He is credited with making several expeditions to the South and bas reliefs of the Abu Simbel Temple depict captives being brought back. These captives show that slaves were taken from several different groups of people. Some historians , especially from Europe, tried to show that the relief depicted black captives to prove that Sosostris I was not black. That would be the same as saying that the Bosnians are black because they were attacled by the SerBs or the Afgans are black because they were attacked by the Arabs..

About 1730-1580 Mizraim was again under seige. Asiatic Hykos also know as Shepherd Kings, continuely harassed the people of Mizrian. It was through the Hyksos, it is believed, that the Egyptians were introduced to the horse and charriot. The Hyksos did not penetrate deeply into the Kingdom and they set up their own capitol at Varis. The Hyksos culture had much to be desired since they were shepherds of the desert and nomadic in nature. However, they made many attempts to control the Kingdom. These supposed Aryan-Semites kept hostilities alive with the black dynasty of upper Egypt but were unable to completely overthrow the Pharaohs. With determination, the Pharaohs were able to expell the Hyksos from the land permanitly. This was about 1580 B C E. Egypt was reunited for the third time establishing the 18th dynasty.
