Some of us today are basically living paycheck to paycheck. with this current economic situation and future we can no longer alfford not to have dollars in the bank.
The trick to get to that point is not as hard as you think. Why do you think the government have taxes taken out of your check? They want to make sure they get their money up front before you get a chance to spend it. Why not do the same for yourself. Start having your job take a selected amount out of your check everypaycheck. It can be say $10.00. It adds up. If you are not working or receive a paycheck,you too can put away money in a saving account. If you are in an area where there is a black bank , by all means support them.
If you are at a point you really feel you can at the moment do this then try some of these ideas;
1. sell something
2. save your change
3. pick up odd jobs
4. go on

put money earned/saved in a savings account.
Times are getting tight, budgets /services are being cut. It's getting hard to even borrow money from family/friends. This is a start to and not an end to you saving.
Get the entire family involved.
With the change in banking most banks will be charging fees for basic services that normally was free. Credit unions generally have better rates. Either way everyone need $'s in a bank/credit union.
