Do this Black History quiz and help our children go to college (1173 hits)

Test you knowledge of our history and help Colgate-Palmolive help more of our children go to college. During Black History month Colgate-Palmolive joins in the celebration by donating$40,000.00 to the United Negro college Fund. You can help increase the donation at http://www.colgate.com/putyourmindtoit. The company will donate an additional 50 cents, so more of our children can put their minds to work at college. The amount doesn't sound like a lot. But, think of the impact if we all on this site do it and pass it on. This takes place between 1/30/11 and March 15,2011. Pass this on. The president is proposing to reduce Pell grants awards. Every little bit helps.
Also, please log on and register with Upromise, http://www.upromise.com. Buying products you normally would purchase at the grocery store/drug store earns money for education and help pay off school loans. Pass this info on. We are all on this journey together.

Miisreal I think UNCF would still donate the 50 cents even if you fail. It's not a hard test at all, only three questions. Give it a try...our children need the money for school. And by all means, pass this on.

I just checked Colgate's site. We didn't get enough people to take the test to get the extra $10,000.00 but Colgate did donate $41,184.00 to the UNCF. We need to keep our eyes and ears open for next year. We want our children to get every dollar being donated. Thanks to all that supported this project.
