Having A Hobby Can Be Relaxing (988 hits)

I recently started learning how to make wire and bead jewelry and it has been something that I needed to take my mind off my problems. I haven’t been online lately because I’ve been so busy. Here is a picture of a necklace that I just made. It is a shame that no matter how good I become at this or any talent, it won’t be the answer to my financial problems. It’s hard to believe that the Affirmative Action Program that was designed to help people was the source that led to my life of poverty. The Program has ended now but my problems still continue. I’ve been taking college courses to improve my chances of opening up a small business, but I don’t have the resources available to do it. That is how situations can turn you from an optimist into a pessimist.

Very funny! I think that it's safer to have a hobby. I found it hard to find a man that's not a backstabber. I'm lucky to have gone thru the menopause. Back to the subject, I think that after I learn all the techniques of beading I'm going to make a beaded evening gown.

My hobbies are reading, sewing, and writing poetry...and I have recently learned to grow my own vegatable garden. Anything to take our minds off the evils of this world!

I use to be so outgoing and open-minded about people in general. Now I've tried to isolate myself from others because everything seems to be program operated. I only selected a few friends on my blog page but I still remain friends with as many people as possible. It's just that I have trust issues.
