Good post!
I have witnessed Eddie Palmieri in many concert series as a child and adult. I had the pleasure to talk to him privately at the Blue Note Jazz Club in da village in Manhattan. Also Auturo O'Farrill's 'Afro-Cuban Jazz Band' is hot particularly when they feature other Salsa/Mambo bands at Birdland Jazz Club in Manhattan. Also Bobby Sanabria is a real hot and a legendary performer. I was wondering why Sonny Bravo the legendary piano player was not on the piano too, I guess you cannot have to piano players on the rostrum?????????
