Why do some of our people have a need to believe in the so-call bible when it has done more to keep us in FEAR / mental if not physical slavery?

There are 73 books in the Catholic bible, 66 books in the standard KJV which one is correct or the word of God?

Greetings: In an attempt to answer why do some our people believe in the bible is likely to start with one answer --They have chosen to believe. I feel that there may be thousands of reasons that may cause one to believe in bible, but mainly because they have accepted and believed it is God's Word. It appears to me, also you have formulated an answer saying is because it keeps us in FEAR/mental or physical slavery? I cannot speak for every person, but the bible is NOT presented this way in my viewing. In fact, I have to say it is just the opposite. Not Fear, But Love, not mental or physical slavery, but moral and spiritual freedom and a way of gaining immortality to live with God forever. The bible has stood all kinds of canonicity over centuries, yet you'll see that much of its content guides humankind in proper ways to live and please God. Simply, it is up to the individual to believe, or disbelieve in the bible. Many believers however, would disagree it has ever been a fearful book to bind and enslave, but a communication of life's situations and understanding God instruction, salvation and love. And, lastly I believe the only needed or necessary FEAR is the FEAR OF GOD HIMSELF. Each person has liberty to believe that the bible is God's word. I do not feel any Holy Word is not from God. I respect any religious book, as long as I can find a beneficial way it makes men and women more productive in God's love and kindness and detaches immorality to spiritual living of moral good for all men. This is how I distinguish the Word is God's. The main reason, I support the bible is because I love the Word.

Hello to all,

Can any one tell me what the Bible is, who wrote it, and who it belongs to?

I know that the Bible is the testimony of the Jewish people to the world at large of who God helped them in their times of trouble with other people and how God personally helped the Jewish people as well.

I know that the Jewish people wrote the Bible about their experience with God and therefore the Bible belongs to the Jewish people.

Now! Am I absolutely right about what I just said? And, it is the word of God only for the Jewish people and not for us Black Americans because we will soon be writing about our experience with God and how God personally helped us by delivering us the descendents of slaves out of our present day bondage and subjugation here in White America just as God had done for the Children of Israel 4000 years ago.

Our Prophet Harry has the Word of God only for us as the Jewish Jesus has the Word of God only for his Jewish people 2000 years.

So, what is the Bible, who wrote it and who does it belongs to?

I am the only one of us that is right and that is because I am our first genuine prophet.

@ Irma, I do constantly promote love, peace, harmony within my own hearts and also to those I have opportunity to share in my life's journey. Once I have connected with them, I conclude they have shared my spirit, and I have shared theirs. Thereby, the book I have learned and studied being the bible has allowed my carrying out what I have absorbed. Thank you for understanding this.

@ Soso, What better shape of life for me is but to have a reality of Spiritual Love? If I am enslaved to what I find is good, then knowing God is good I would say I have discovered the meaning of true freedom. Who is to say that spiritual freedom is a false freedom, except those who do not know the relationship one shares with God? Whether in chains of a physical body, I have no chains in the Spirit. A physical life for me is temporary, a life of spirit is eternally free. The enslavement of Paul and Ezekiel I do agree, because I know that eyes I behold the Lord are without natural eyes, but eyes attained with God's spirit. Perhaps, many do not understand the reverence of fearing God and look at earthly men and earthly things, then too God has created all things and in creating them, surely God has omnipresent power to destroy what he has made. The Fear is respect and knowledge of God and those whom are wise to Fear God have an advantage of becoming truly free. What is unseen is truly there, fearing God is respectful, God is love and his love is in the hearts of men who identify the free, the unseen and the fear knowing the Omnipresent God power is significantly worth trembling. Again, I love God and his word has made me a slave of obedience and love. God knowing all things is for His awareness, what need of we to fear, what are we compared to such a powerful Lord? Defenseless as slaves God our Master is a Supreme being.

You asked the obvious.. "The Bible is God's Word." God has allowed Gentiles to be part of His Word and to whosoever wants to has liberty and the freedom to believe in His Son Jesus. That was very easy to answer and not perplexed at all.

That’s your belief system I do respect you, and will defend yours or anyone’s right to believe whatever, but! Let’s not confuse Spiritual Love or Spirituality with beliefs they are not synonymous
Please note it is not my intention to hurt / upset anyone but to have an honest dialog about the enslavement of some black folks and the root of it
Then if you agree with me about the enslavement that Paul and Ezekiel teach, then what does that say for the rest of the so-call word of God in the bible please note that according to Christendom the bible is the word of God

@Soso, If I am understanding you, are trying to make clarity that Paul and Ezekiel were under enslavement because of the obdience they endured during their life time due to trials and imprisonments...and that they stayed in obedience to God no matter what happened to them? If so, then in comparison you see Blacks are enslaved to fear God? Of course, enslavement and hardships came upon them, thereby their testimonals gave them faith to keep believing in the freedom God gives spirutually. Although, one might want to consider the two worlds of physical and spiritual are not synonymous --as you have said however, believers tend to have them as ways to attain knowlege of God in sufferings, and the spiritual growth to endure and bring praise to God. You must understand, from what I have suffered in my own testimony, I have not considered it as enslavement at all. For all men have sinned against God, and thereby we are inclined to reap the punishment of sin. God does chasten disobedience. I would appreciate a better understanding as to why you feel Blacks are enslaved if they are believers of God's word and ; as to why you feel that men of God have rooted Blacks that they are slaves in believing God's word? Otherwise, I must speak that each individual person can determine slave ; or free, they choose to serve God diligently in recognizing the spiritual unity of their relationship is merited and God will have a reward! I am speaking of spiritual things which are eternal, there is no confusion it is the life by which only godly men/people who follows Christ might abide by God. Perhaps, I have been somewhat helpful. I don't claim to be a "know-it-all "being I am a woman who is working toward a good fight of faith; these are the teachings I have learned by following God's Holy Word and by men who have given testimonials in God's word as doing the same.

If, I can offer more detail of how I feel it not an enslavement for as me, and that is more of a spiritual atonement to the living of salvation I will do my best to administer.

We are dialoguing about the Bible am I right. So, I asked the question what is the Bible, who wrote the Bible and what people does the Bible belongs to?

Mr. Soso you replied and said, “Harry my intention is to have an intelligent discourse”.

Essentially, what you are saying is that since my questions are very tough and don’t line-up with your pre-condition Christian concepts then my questions are unintelligent.

My questions are not unintelligent because if you would go ahead and answer my questions one by one you see for yourself that the answers you give will automatically wipe away all your pre-condition concepts you were raised up on by your parents.

So rather than confront your inter fairs of being wrong you decided that it was easier to say my questions are unintelligent am I right.

So, please answer my question. What is the Bible and I already gave you the answer. So, all that you need to do is type my answer back to me dummy!

Hello Ms. Bride,

You are wrong! The Bible is first the testimony of the Jewish people and they are giving the reader like you the Word of God given to them by God am I right.

Likewise, the Quran is the Word of God, but first it is the testimony of the Arabian people and their experience that they had with the same God the Jewish people are talking about.

We Black Americans now have the Word of God as well from the same God as the Arabians and the Jewish people since we have a genuine Prophet Harry, but we haven’t start writing our Word of God in our Bible yet.

Each people when they have produced a man that God would anoint as the prophet is only when that people can receive the Word of God. The Word of God comes to the people only from their own prophet and not from another prophet that is racially different.

So, Ms. Bride I asked what is the Bible and you said it was the Word of God okay, but my second question will catch you and that is who wrote the Bible.

You don’t want to give the right and truthful answer that I gave you when I said that the Bible is the Jewish people’s testimony trying to run from me, but you can’t run because the second and third questions got you.

This is the time for us to honest and up-right. Stop with your tricks. .

When reading any of the books in the bible that is ascribe to Paul by his own admission he was a mad man, As for Ezekiel he had nothing good to say about woman, these are supposed to be men of God

@Soso: By the same respect I have somewhat detemined you feel there is certain enslavement for those who believe in the scriptures of the bible. Since it what you have given reference in the these scriptures. I took read of the scriptures, and there were other parts which were totally omitted in which Paul did continue his statement.. This is like disecting certain words to show ; or prove a only certain pointers written in word. It's like only portrayal of half the picture. I would encourage any person to read study the Word and determine for themselves.
There is no doubt the Word of God has been abused to meet the need of man's comfort zones.
It is true; often men would like to make their lives fully and perfectly without befitting to their own ideals. However, God has made us examine ourselves and has mastered how we can be filled by his Holy Spirit. We have the choice.

We believe and follow, or we disbelieve and do not.

The statement of "By the way who told anyone the bible is the WORD OF GOD" can also be a question asked or ; statement made of many athetists. One being
"Who told you there was a God?"
And
"I don't believe in God."
Many men today have not truly examined God's word as true.
Yet, for certain we will know.
I pray that it will not be too late.

The events of Jews of 2000+ years ago in Africa/Asia/MiddleEAST WERE written in Hebrew, Aramaic or Arabic

And Europe is not a good Translater of Africa/Asia/MiddleEAST with Intellect.......

All of the versions are INCORRECT, unless in Original Language..Hebrew, Aramaic or Arabic
