http://www.examiner.com/article/chocolate-...

Milk, dark and white chocolate are known for it’s healing abilities when it comes to the needs of a women. Whether it’s pre-menstrual syndrome, menopause, or cancer--- the ability to heal the mind, body and soul with chocolate plays a major role. Chocolate is full of antioxidants and flavanols which are connected to vascular health, such as improving blood flow to the brain and heart, making blood platelets less sticky so that they won’t clot and lowering the blood pressure. The blood flow is the main course in helping one heal---and the connection to chocolate is most important to the one who is in search of the defense. Unprocessed chocolate is the key! If it’s processed it’s not good for the one who is looking for health benefits---it may taste good but it‘s certainly not good for the health.

When indulging in the expression of chocolate for health, it is most important to look for the ingredients to see if the chocolate is processed or in it’s organic form. Once the chocolate is process the flavanols are no longer there. When it is in it’s organic form the antioxidants are the healing remedy and not only does it taste good but it is also good for you. As a women and in surveying other women during their pre-menstrual cycle nothing could take the place of a creamy milk, dark, or white chocolate candy bar during this time of the month, these are only some of the major health benefits of chocolate--don’t you want some?
