@Harry the devil King is given to cause bring about "illusions" such as the "illusion" that you have a better argument against the devil King without knowing who he is than taking time to learn something about him thus causing such fear in you until you felt the need to declare war on a teaching abatar ...learning is a great counter to being ignorant and making self out to be an idiot...but only you can do this to self. @Steve he could be listed under another name section.He can be under 'delusion", "fundamental darkness." "king of the 6th heaven, ect.(WND 310)
@Harry, Nichiren had the courage to see his own fundamental darkness.In spite of this sober reality, he summoned forth confidence in his inate Buddhahood and thus overcame life's tendancy to deny its own highest reality. As he states, "The single word 'belief' is the sharp sword with which one confronts and over come fundamental darkness or ignorance." (OTT,119-20. )(C&E)
footnote: Buddahood means everyone has the power to do right or to do wrong.

While the word Buddha may 'conjure up images of a specific person from history or world religions courses we have taken, it is also a discription of the highest state of life each or us can achieve. Buddha actually means 'awakened on".The historical Buddha (known as Shakyamuni of Siddhartha Gautama) discovered that all humans have a potential for enlightment- or "Buddhahood"- in the depths of their lives. This coud be likened to a rosebush in winter: the flowers are dormant even though we know that the bush contains the potential to bloom.
One who has been a waken to being happy they can respect both self and others , stop fearing the next door neighbor because of them not living in our house,attending our place of worship, smile and say 'hello' because mankind lives in an enviornment that not one of mankind can excape.The 'Devil king is one who has convinced self this is not true and hate self and others based on this illusion that they have done so.(C&E)

@Robert, the "Devil king is one who say their mother is white then denys there are somethings,persons, places defined as 'white' / 'delusions, illusions that people can not figure out you have changed your 'truth' .The Devil king is one who teaches that Christians accept with open arms their 'right' kind of Muslims and only rejects the kinds of Muslims they do not like.(C&E)
@note ND Buddhism is about 'actions' not personal emotional, subjective out burst discriptions.
