at its heart the all-seeing, all-powerful creator-god figure that is common to many of the worlds major religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism. The precise form of the divine nature vaires...God, Gods who are responsible for all of creation and who have therefore an immensely powrful role to play in the lives of men.On the other hand is humanity...that is to say to us, and are separated by an unbridgable gulf.It is unthinkable of men becoming gods!!!Communication from mankind in the form of prayer, in praise of or in supplication. The basic prencipal, apporiate relationship with god.
Buddhist humanism by contrast is rooted in the lives of the ordinary man.All Buddhas are ordinary human beings.Every one have good and evil in them. You must live your own life as no one else can do it for you.Only you can solve all of the influences that come to bear on you during your life's journey. No on else can.Just as the law of gravity is strict in the physical Universe, so, in Buddhism is the principle of personal responsibility!(C&E)
