As of early July, Ukraine has received from the US 2,000 Interceptor bulletproof vests, whose labels show their excellent bulletproof qualities, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry press office said on Wednesday.
"Taking into account that production capacities of relevant Ukrainian enterprises do not meet relevant demands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in regard to domestically produced bulletproof vests, subdivisions are provided with personal protection means, including with the help of foreign partners," the press office said.
At the same time, according to the tests to access ballistic resistance of the US-made Interceptor bulletproof vest, the sample provided has shown great bulletproof qualities against both 7.62 rounds and smaller calibers as well. Ukrainian mass media outlets reported earlier that the quality of the bulletproof vests supplied by the US to Ukraine was unsatisfactory.

A better idea would be to send them running shoes as things are not going well at all.
