What an interesting discussion. Therefore, here is my answer to who is the "us".
First, as according to the biblical recording and scriptures God is known as God the Creator-- we find He is a God of All Power, and also knowingly A God of Spirit. There are at least four locations of scriptures the Holy bible in the Old and New Testaments giving reference that "God is a God which has seven spirits." As I study of this it makes it quite possible-- He {GOD} spoke to Himself in the "plural forms of Spirits" and of all His Spiritual make- up when it time to create the man known as Adam.
Secondly, The reference to Him being "us" thus, more than one Spirit were included as possible a description of all Himself which is with seven spirits were included in and making man in our image--every image of the Seven Spirits of Him.
He being "God with the Word" who is the creator of all things.
References of Seven Spirits of God : Revelation: 1:4, 3:1, 4:5 and 5:6.
In prophecy: of Seven Spirits mentioned of the Rod or Root of Jesse referring to Jesus Christ: Isaiah: 11: 1-4
Later, in the new testament of the bible we read in the chapter of book of John 1: 3 where it is read that "The Word was with God." which by all things were made. The Word is also referred to as Jesus Christ in addition, to being Jesus, the Spirit of God as declared. For in the Holy Bible Jesus Christ also claims He and God are as One Spirit. Since the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost is also one of God's Spirit.
I would say that God in conclusion in the saying of "US" was referring to all His eternal Living Spirits.
God-self in the beginning with WORD which aided in the creation of man in their image. This is the spiritual insight I have as the image God is, was, and will always be a God a Seven-Fold Spirit.
That's my reply, however as mysterious God is to us the understanding of all things given from God is provided by the Holy Spirit the one that teaches "US" of things to come and things to understand of God.

As man was formed from the earth, or dust if you will. And the Spirit of God also created both, good and evil wouldn't you agree?
Having knowing that God has a make up of Seven Spirits, could not God speak of them in creating man?
Yet, you cannot totally disagree --it is much possible God very well could have been speaking of "US" as speaking to Himself to create man.

One more thing too, The referenced verse also states let "US" AND concludes with "OUR" image. Therefore, the question could gain a greater mystery to solve; if man is made in the image of God one would look upon who is
"OUR" if it is not the Spirits of God Himself.
I hope, I have not confused, but made a clarification that "Our" could very well be God and the Seven Spirits of speaking to Himself.

Rather, it means that for someone who dies, any hope of future life rests with The Most High. His life is in Most High's hands, so to speak. Only by Most High's power can the spirit, or life-force, be given back so that a person may live again.

Now, I have not contradicted at all-- for throughout the bible we know God uses the male gender in writings of scripture. So let's look at it this way since you are becoming refined with the male gender.
God is the maker of man in the image of Himself, this should indicate "man has the look of God." in other words God made man in an "image of His own spirit." Man uses the male gender of He.
Making man would show that God uses the masculinity of being referred to as "HE"
However, in the s*xual make-up of men and women; there is masculine or feminine. Therefore, who is to really say that God's Spirit isn't male?
The power of God, and Spirit in the aspects of gender constitutes that an "unseen God made man, by his image"-- and man being "male" would follow suit that the image of The God of Spirit is noted to the masculine look, and makes it possible that God refers to the Spirit as He.
What we have not seen or known of Spirit of God doesn't mean there is no gender.
What proof have you that God Spirit is not masculine or "HE"? Furthermore, one may even question does God really exists; if he is unseen, how would you know? You wouldn't, but one would undoubtedly believe "HE" does.

All that has been written of God was written from inspired men of God. When you try to track down WHO wrote "what" you'll find it's just like faith, the evidence may be unseen. Then, if there is no faith the belief in God is null according to a man's proof. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1KJV You may want real proof, but it's real faith that is the evidence.
Otherwise, let me correct you-- I haven't inputted anything to the biblical "WORD", because it wasn't I who originally wrote the Word. All that is written of in the scriptures God uses the male gender to identify His Spirit. I have believed and seen evidence of what has been written in true. That's the proof of faith, I am evidence of that through my own testimony. Then there is the mentioning of using the European race. Soso, let's be realistic. Much of what you've learned was from Europeans.
This isn't a cop-out Soso but there is no proof in facts of faith, until the WHO begins with self.
A person has the choice to believe what is written-- once more they can also have the choice to dis-believe.

Ok... If I may say this.... I have read various religious books.. each religion has a holy book that is utilized for its religious teachings... Mormons... Catholics... Christians.. etc... Note I said religious teachings. These books were designed for learning mechanism s to teach each person to strive for a moral and spiritual path... I have an older king James version and I compared it to a more modern kjv and Yahweh ( I think that's how it was spelled) was replaced with GOD and also I read that the Kjv was actually taken from stories in the Maat... Critical thinking would demonstrate keeping up with modern history and archeology.
Every single major archeologist responsible for "Black Kemet Dynastic" dating was Petrie & Kitchen.
Neither of them ever said that Abraham never existed because the Arabs historians in Iraq would have blown their spot up.
The so-called white archeologists are confused on dating and trust me the dates given for the Dynastic Pharoah's is not accurate by the so-called white man doing the research.
Here is one excerpt to validate my opinion too:
A New Twist
Kitchen explains it well why so many modern scholars date Abraham to the Isin-Larsa period. However, the search for the Mesopotamian background for Abraham does not stop there. In 1974, the archaeological world was rocked with the discovery of the archives of the ancient city of Ebla in Syria. The archives of the city dated back to before the days of the Akkadian Empire (see table 1). These texts reveal that Ebla was a thriving commercial city with contacts stretching in all directions for hundreds of miles. The discovery affected not only Near Eastern studies but also biblical studies. Shortly after this discovery David Noel Freedman argued that the discovery of the archives gave evidence for placing the patriarchs into the period of Mesopotamian history before Sargon, the founder of the Akkadian Empire. This would have been the period which Kitchen said was too early for the patriarchs. Freedman noted:
The true significance of the Ebla tablets for biblical history and our understanding of the patriarchal narratives [is revealed]. The Genesis 14 account of the punitive raid of the kings of the East upon a rebellious coalition of kings from the Cities of the Plain has long been a puzzling problem for scholars in reconstructing biblical history. The amazing correlation of the number, order, and names of the Cities of the Plain between the Ebla tablet and the biblical record indicates that the Genesis 14 narrative should be understood in the setting of the third millennium, not in the second or even first millennium as scholars have previously thought (Freedman 1978, p. 143).
Freedman stated that one of the tablets listed the five Cities of the Plain in the same order in which they were listed in Genesis. It even named one of the five kings in almost the same form as Genesis (Birsha). This allowed Freedman to say that the patriarchs lived in the Early Bronze Age (EBA) which is traditionally dated to the third millennium BC (Freedman 1978, pp. 148, 154–155, 157–158). Freedman went on to argue that the Early Bronze Age remains just east of the Dead Sea were where the five cities were located. It was believed that Bab edh-Dhra and four other sites nearby were the Cities of the Plain. This was backed up by the fact that there were no Middle Bronze Age sites in the area but only Early Bronze Age sites. Interestingly the Early Bronze Age was the same period as the Ebla archive (Freedman 1978, p. 152).
It is now accepted by most scholars that Freedman’s conclusions are false. The tablet does not list all five of the cities and concerning the name of Birsha, John Bimson notes that there are several examples of kings with the same name ruling centuries apart. So just because the name sounds like that of the king mentioned in Genesis 14 does not mean that it was him (Bimson 1980, pp. 66–67). Freedman himself even noted that the king named Birsha ruled not in Gomorrah but in Admah, contrary to what Genesis says (Freedman 1978, p. 155).
Bimson also argues against Freedman’s archaeological evidence. He notes that Freedman’s argument depends on the fact that no Middle Bronze I sites have been discovered so that Freedman must assume that the Early Bronze Age sites are the Cities of the Plain. Bimson says:
Unless the EBA settlements can be identified with certainty as the “cities of the plain” (which would require four of them being shown to have suffered a simultaneous fall in the EBA; Zoar was not destroyed according to [Genesis] 19), Freedman’s case remains weak (Bimson 1980, p. 67).
He also notes other problems with Freedman’s identification when he says that the central Negeb is pivotal to the patriarchal narratives and that there is almost a total absence of Early Bronze Age evidence in this region until the Middle Bronze I period (Bimson 1980, p. 67). Lastly, biblical chronology cannot be stretched back that far into the third millennium BC. Dating Abraham back before 2300 BC is simply too much of a strain on biblical chronology according to both Bimson (1980, p. 67) and Hoerth (1998, p. 73).
In summary, most scholars date Abraham to the Middle Bronze Age in which is the period of either Ur III or the Isin-Larsa period. It is clear that one piece of evidence as to why Abraham is dated to these periods is the nature of the Genesis 14 coalition of kings. However, it must be noted that the number one reason for this dating is the acceptance of the standard chronology of the Ancient Near East. Abraham is dated anywhere between c. 2100 and c. 1900 and this range of dates are then applied to the standard chronology of Mesopotamia.
However, there have been a number of scholars who have come out against the standard chronology in the recent past.6 There has been a concentrated effort to use this new research in ancient chronology to correlate biblical events with Egyptian chronology.
Two separate studies have dated Abraham to sometime during the Early Dynastic or the Old Kingdom periods in Egypt. John Ashton and David Down (2006) have dated him to the Fourth Dynasty while this author (McClellan 2011, p. 155) has given a range of dates from the 2nd–6th Dynasties.7 Placing Abraham in this earlier period in Egyptian history also forces Abraham to be dated significantly earlier in Mesopotamian history. (Ur III and Isin-Larsa correspond to the Middle Kingdom in Egypt, and that time aligns better with the Mosaic period than with Abraham’s.)
If Abraham is to be dated earlier in Mesopotamian history then in what period did Abraham live in Mesopotamia? What is interesting about the quote by Kitchen above is that he notes that there was another period in Mesopotamian history in which a coalition of kings could have existed; that is, the period before the Akkadian Empire. What is more interesting is that this is the time period that Freedman dated Abraham. So one has to ask whether or not this period could be the setting for Abraham’s life?

Among the texts uncovered by Henry Layard in the ruins of the library of Ashurbanipal in Nineveh,
there was one that told a tale of Creation not unlike the one in the Book of Genesis. The broken tablets,
first pieced together and published by George Smith in 1876 (The Chaldean Genesis), conclusively
established that there indeed existed an Akkadian text, written in the Old Babylonian dialect, that related
how a certain deity created Heaven and Earth and all upon Earth, including Man.
A vast literature now exists that compares the Mesopotamian text with the biblical narrative. The
Babylonian deity's work was done, if not in six "days," then over the span of six tablets. Parallel to the
biblical God's seventh day of rest and enjoyment of his handiwork, the Mesopotamian epic devotes a
seventh tablet to the exaltation of the Babylonian deity and his achievements. Appropriately, L. W. King
named his authoritative text on the subject The Seven Tablets of Creation.
Now called "The Creation Epic," the text was known in antiquity by its opening words, Enuma Elish

name for it was the Sea of Ur. Hieroglyphically, the sign for Ur meant "the far-foreign [land] in the
east"; that it actually may also have referred to the Sumerian Ur, lying in that very direction, cannot be
ruled out.
The Egyptian word for "divine being" or "god" was NTR, which meant "one who watches."
Significantly, that is exactly the meaning of the name Shumer: the land of the "ones who watch."
The earlier notion that civilization may have begun in Egypt has been discarded by now. There is ample

A handout picture released by the Egyptian ministry of antiquities yesterday shows ivory combs, tools, blades and arrowheads discovered in the tomb.
Egypt said yesterday archaeologists have unearthed a 5,600-year-old preserved tomb and mummy predating the pharaonic First Dynasty, a discovery that will shed new light on the pre-dynastic era.
The tomb was built before the rule of king Narmer, the founder of the First Dynasty who unified Upper and Lower Egypt in the 31th century BC, the antiquities ministry said in a statement.
The tomb was discovered in the Kom al-Ahmar region, between Luxor and Aswan, on the site of ancient Hierakonpolis, the city of the falcon, which was the capital of the Kingdom of Upper Egypt.
The archaeologists found an ivory statue of a bearded man and the mummy of the tomb’s owner, who appeared to have died in his late teenage years, the ministry said.
They also found 10 ivory combs as well as tools, blades and arrow heads, it said.
The tomb’s preserved state will provide new information on pre-dynastic rituals, said Renee Friedman, the head of the multinational archaeological team.
The tombs of king Narmer and king Ka, a pre-dynastic pharaoh who paved the way to Egypt’s unification, were previously discovered in Hierakonpolis.

Thank you for this question and Brother SoSo, you may have a thought when you said that God is talking to himself, Let me set this up for a moment.
Both You and I live in a three-dimensional world. All physical objects have a certain height, width, and depth. One person can look like someone else, or behave like someone else, or even sound like someone else. But a person cannot actually be the same as another person. They are distinct individuals.
God, however, lives without the limitations of a three-dimensional universe. He is spirit. And he is infinitely more complex than we are.
That is why Jesus the Son can be different from the Father. And, yet the same.
The Bible clearly speaks of: God the Son, God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. But emphasizes that there is only ONE God.
If we were to use math, it would not be, 1+1+1=3. It would be 1x1x1=1. God is a triune God.
Thus the term: "Tri" meaning three, and "Unity" meaning one, Tri+Unity = Trinity. It is a way of acknowledging what the Bible reveals to us about God, that God is yet three "Persons" who have the same essence of deity. Some have tried to give human illustrations for the Trinity, such as H2O being water, ice and steam (all different forms, but all are H2O). Another illustration is an egg having a shell, egg yolk and egg white, but this egg illustration shows that there would be "parts" to God, which isn't the case.
God the Son (Jesus) is fully, completely God. God the Father is fully, completely God. And God the Holy Spirit is fully, completely God. Yet there is only one God. In our world, with our limited human experience, it's tough to understand the Trinity. But from the beginning we see God this way in Scripture. Notice the plural pronouns "us" and "our" in Genesis 1:26 -- Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
The passage in The Holy Bible being this question into focus for me.
And after being baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased." (Matt. 3:16-17)
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Matt. 28:19)
This is our mission as God talk's to the believers of his words to go forward.

As you may already know that both in The Old Testament which had foretold of the coming of The Son of God and The New Testament whIch is the fulfillment of the old byway of the birth of God's Son was the plan for this story.
Remember, back in my post entitled "Who image is in your mind" when I said that we are part of The Greatest Story Ever Told, Jesus Christ is part of that story, the man has that personal relationship with God. Here's another look on that powerful question of yours as we take a look at what the term "Sons of God" means.
Genesis 6:1-4 speaks of the universal degeneration of man into ungodliness prior to the equally uni- versal, worldwide Flood of Genesis 6-9. What, then, is the significance of these verses to the beliefs of the Christian? As will be discussed in detail below, these verses either present a historical account, or make the writer of Genesis a perpetrator of myths; they either provide sufficient warrant for the Noahic Flood, or they mock it; they either are consistent with biblical teaching, or they contradict it and promote false doctrine. An overview of previous works dealing with this passage also sheds light on the influence of prior assumptions. Almost without exception, those scholars who accept the Documentary Hypothesis, and who otherwise have little regard for the inerrancy and divine inspiration of the Bible, reach one con- clusion, and those who respect Scripture come to quite a different conclusion.
Most of this controversy surrounds the meaning of “sons of God” in verses two and four, and so after I outline the passage and note problems in translation, I will present some possibilities for the meaning of the phrase “sons of God.”
Meanwhile, Adam and Eve bore another son of note named Seth (although Adam and Eve had more children, 5:4). With the arrival of Seth and his son Enosh (4:26a), the writer notes: “Then began men to call upon the name of Jehovah” (4:26b), as if there was now a renewed spirit of devotion toward God. Seth’s descendants (5:6-32) included Enoch, of whom it is said, “he walked with God: and he was not; for God took him” (5:24). The concept of “walking with God” probably means that Enoch was in spiritual communion and favor with God—an interpretation supported by the writer of Hebrews, who remarked of the patriarch that he did not see death because “he had been well-pleasing unto God” (Hebrews 11:5). Finally, Lamech is seen to rejoice in the birth of his son Noah, in whom he saw the hope of comfort in their work and toil (5:29). While there is no verse that says a "third of the angels fell from heaven," some verses, when put together, lead us to that conclusion. Sometime after their creation, and most certainly after the sixth day when everything was declared “very good” (Genesis 1:31), Satan rebelled and was cast out of heaven. “How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!” (Isaiah 14:12). When Lucifer sinned, Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven” (Luke 10:18), and in the book of the Revelation Satan is seen as “a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth” (Revelation 9:1).
We are also told that one third of an “innumerable company of angels” (Hebrews 12:22) chose to rebel with him. John saw this great wonder in heaven, “…an enormous red dragon…His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth…the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him” (Revelation 12:3-9).
Since Satan is referred to as a star which fell or was cast down to earth, and Revelation 12:4 says "a third of the stars were cast out" with him, then the conclusion is that the stars in Revelation 12 refer to fallen angels, fully one third of the heavenly host. If the one-third number is in fact accurate, what assurance that is! Two thirds of the angels are still on God's side, and for followers of Christ, they are on our side as well.

With that said, I will go on the your Great question, Who was Jesus Calling to since he was God?
God the Son was a human, in human form. However God the Son was Talking to God the Father in all three of your great questions. Now God the Son was separate from God the Father because Jesus took on all the sins of man and he knew that he was the lamb to fulfill the prophesy in The Old Testament.
The flesh of God was speaking to the Spirit of God. The flesh was not indicating that the Spirit had departed from Him, only that the Spirit was not helping Him or making the experience of the cross easier for Him. Jesus suffered the pain and indignities of the cross as one of us, in exactly the same way anyone of us would. Oh what a Savior!
I don't want to overload these great questions of yours but I got one more thing to say Brother SoSo and I eagerly await some follow-up questions of yours which I will be glad to shed some of my light.

I don't believe Jesus Christ came to correct Adams fallen race as you put it. As you may or may not know that the lamb was used as burnt offing to God in The Old Testament and that Lamb was to be without blemish. Jesus was called as The Lamb of God John.

Now I would have no problem if the bible was a historical documentation but the text was not designed to be historical, it was designed to be more mythical in nature. I do like to read the bible and discover the secrets encoded - but most people take it at face value when history suggest differently. Here's the difference... you have mythical text that people are fighting to make true and then you have historical text that people are trying to make lies. Many modern Muslims feel ashamed and try to say this is not true, hadiths are wrong, but evidence against Muhammad is too strong to deny. So the Prophet said, 'Bring him along with her.' So Dihya came with her and when the Prophet saw her, he said to Dihya, 'Take any slave girl other than her from the captives.'" Anas added: "The Prophet then manumitted her and married her."
Two years earlier, Muhammad had beheaded Huyeiy, the father of Safiyyah along with 900 men of Bani Quraiza.

According to Muslims hadith is just as holy as the quran. Well according to ALLAH in the quran following any hadith outside the quran is forbidden. So you should on turn question the so called Muslims you reference and ask why do you follow hadith when the quran forbids it? Instead of di(k riding information from hadith writers that contradict itself. And realize that hadith isn't rejected by real Muslims because it's written by pale Arabs but rejected because GOD Instructs Muslims to reject hadith and the hadith is not sound because it contradicts itself.
