When GOD says No!
It's a hard battle when GOD says no!
We wonder why and can't possibly see the harm in it
When GOD says no!
We must remember it's HIS perfect will for our lives
But before we accept this.. Let's be honest we fight
In our ignorance we assume we know all there is
In our pride.. We don't see why
In this midst this quick turn has decorated us in rebellion
We twist and we turn
We cry up to learn
Why is this not apart of YOUR sovereignty?
When GOD says No!
We become like Jacob and wrestle with GOD
Only til at the end of this battle
Place our hands up and declare
Okay, okay.. YOU win my selfishness will die
When GOD says No!
It's just HIS way of protecting us from error
It's just HIS way of introducing something better
It's just HIS way of saying
"Know that I got you kid"
"MY way is perfect just trust in ME"
"Not many others can walk the way I have chosen for you
Stand strong and walk in faith
Trust that I have you and prepared your proper place"
