Chasing Rainbows
Chasing rainbows although surrounded by desert
Looking upward although no evidence surrounds me
Although at present things appear to lack in physical manifestation
I'm chasing rainbows
That's the promise HE left me
Surroundings look awfully dry
May even lack in full plant life
But I'm chasing rainbows
Seems as if nothing new is growing out of this
Appears as if that which I wish is so far removed
But I count my inner blessings
And keep my eyes on YOU
I'm chasing rainbows!
