RELIGION (839 hits)

I generally avoid discussions on Religion, especially the Bible.

First off, I feel Religion is and has been the blight on mankind, especially when what you believe does not allow you to respect another. The shear hypocrisy of a professed, wealthy, Christian stepping over the needy and hungry to go into their House of Worship is another serious issue.

I feel and believe that if more people/believers got up off their knees and actual spend that time helping the needy, they would be more in the Grace of The Creator.

I practice no Religion, I treat and see the Creator in everyone until they show me the Devil in them. I can say this because I was raised in the Church which made me aware of my Soul and gave me a Conscience.

I would agree that this generation will be the hardest to reach because of the fact that their lives have been void of Religious principles. It will be almost impossible to help someone spiritually if they do not realize that they have a Soul.

You will not reach the Youth by debating History.

My solution would be to offer the Youth empowerment through Self-Realization.

Art was my salvation, I had the need to (rebel) express myself and once I realized that if I want Respect I had to give Respect.

Religion: The Pillar of Human Decency

As for The Vatican, in my humble opinion for the Church's penance and retribution to mankind for Its' indiscretions, putting it discreetly, should be to give back to each nation their stolen cultural artifacts and treasures that the Vatican holds, with interest.

In addition, aiding these nation in setting up the infrastructure to house, to protect and to display for the world to view, boosting their economies and the self-esteem of the people of these nations.

Them maybe the world could begin to believe that they are true followers of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

I am not enthusiastic about The Vatican releasing these stolen artifacts, because these Treasures would challenge their Church Doctrine, there in lies the problem.
