Thinking Out Loud (393 hits)

Our world is no longer an innocent Garden of Eden, but a devastated realm of human-conditioning reflecting psychologically distressed humans, where ‘inhumanity’ reigns (Leunig). There is light and shade, heat and cold, good and evil, and there is God and the Devil. Dualistic conception of nature has been a necessary phase in the evolution of human thought. Symbols are not lies; symbols contain truth. Allegories and parables are not falsehoods; they convey information: moreover, they can be understood by those who are not as yet prepared to receive the plain truth. Thus, when in the progress of science religious symbols are recognized and known in its symbolic nature. This knowledge will not destroy religion but will purify it and will cleanse it from mythology.

Helen, you are strong at encouraging truth, it's normal there'll be principles of abominations, especially if your thoughts are opened out loud. I hope whatever you ate I pray is curable and that you're feeling better now.

Thinking silently.
