
The average person blinks some 25-30 times per minute. In addition to defending the eye from particles and allergens, the blink can help clear the eyes and diagnose certain diseases. – People who experience emotional excitement, anxiety or frustration have an increased blink rate; feelings of guilt or inferiority have also been known to affect normal blink patterns. - Low blink rates, is associated with inattentiveness and daydreaming. Whenever you become bored or feeling sleepy you should simply pay more attention to your blinking because it will prevents your eyes from looking like your staring or in a trance.
