The U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Education (ED) developed a joint policy statement to support early childhood programs and States in promoting the development and learning of young children, from birth to age 5, who are DLLs. National estimates indicate that there is a large and growing population of DLL children. This webinar will highlight the research on DLLs, focus on policies that support the development and learning of DLLs, and examine some practical approaches. After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing information about joining the webinar. View System Requirements.

The report, High-Quality Early Learning Settings Depend on a High-Quality Workforce—Low Compensation Undermines Quality, summarizes the research base and includes recommendations for reaching pay parity across all early learning settings.
