This legislation passed by both houses sent a massage to Trump that congress is not liking his weak stances concerning his relationship to Putin who told the world back in January of 16 according to news week, that "Russia's Putin: I've Always Liked Communist and Socialist 'Ideas' http://www.newsweek.com/russias-putin-says... COMMUNISM. Would lifting sanctions bring new life to the old Communist Party?

Thanks for the complete H.R.3364 - Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act. In your opinion, where is the threatened from within? I also see that you have no comment to this question: "COMMUNISM. Would lifting sanctions bring new life to the old Communist Party?"

I'm not concerned about the Communist Party in Russia. The threat to America is that we've become unconstitutional, a ship of state without a rudder. The Constitution is a simple document but people no longer comprehend the plain English of America's founders. Other scholars, such as Robert H. Bork and Daniel E. Troy, argue that prior to 1887, the Commerce Clause was rarely invoked by Congress, and thus a broad interpretation of the word "commerce" was clearly never intended by the Founders. In support of this claim, they argue that the word "commerce", as used in the Constitutional Convention and the Federalist Papers, can be substituted with either "trade" or "exchange" interchangeably while preserving the meaning of the statements. They also point to Madison's statement in an 1828 letter that the "Constitution vests in Congress expressly...'the power to regulate trade'."[6][7]

YOUR WORDS: I'm not concerned about the Communist Party in Russia. Are you concern about the growth of Putin's grow power in The United States in relations to our voting system and Putin's power world wide. Well this is what our political leaders on both sides of the aisle are concern with Steve. That is the reason why congress put restriction on this president and made this bill Vote proof and TRUMP was forced to sign that bill within 10 days. Now he eventually put he signature to this bill but he was not happy about doing it. No fan affair, No press and No announcements. I still have not heard a word from Trump about what Putin did about Four days ago now, you know, demanding that 755 diplomatic workers, many of them American, be cut from the US Embassy in Moscow and from US diplomatic missions in St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, and Vladivostok. NO WORD FROM TRUMP YET. What to Putin have on Trump to silence the president of The United State's of America.

To me it's like health care reform. Let the chips fall where they may. If Russia wants to expel ALL our diplomats that's fine by me. Did you hear Putin is on vacation in Siberia?

Ad least Putin said something and was put on the record when Obama expelled the Russian diplomats from the United States but Trump, has not said anything about the expelled diplomats from Russia, not one word yet to this day. Some are asking, what do Putin have on Trump?

President Trump signed new sanctions against Russia, Iran, and North Korea after overwhelming bipartisan support in Congress. The vote on new sanctions comes as an investigation into possible election meddling and cyberattacks by Russia continues. It was one of the rare instances where both sides of the aisle were able to come together and pass legislation But there were 5 US lawmakers who voted against the bill: 4 libertarians and 1 progressive independent. Those lawmakers were US Reps. Justin Amash (R-Mich.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), John Duncan Jr. (R-Tenn.), and US Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) An interesting group, to be sure.
