Charlottesville Workers Have Shrouded The Robert E. Lee Statue In Black The city covered two Confederate statues in black tarp to symbolize the mourning for Heather Heyer, who was killed while protesting a violent white nationalist rally.

Charlottesville shrouded the statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee in black on Wednesday to symbolize the city's mourning for Heather Heyer, who was killed while protesting a white supremacist rally earlier this month.
The violence in Charlottesville was sparked by the Unite the Right rally — a gathering of white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the KKK — that was organized to protest the proposed removal of Lee's statue in Emancipation Park.

I agreed with the President on August 12 and I nothing I've seen since has changed my mind. As proven with the shrouding of the statues by Charlottesville, there is hatred and bigotry ON MANY SIDES.
Heather Heyer was a person who DIED living what she believed, to wright the wrongs in a country she lived in and not to promote This egregious display of Hatred, Bigotry, and Violence by some Neo-Nazi's which have no place in modern today American history. Yet that hate from one of the most abhorrent, repugnant, repulsive, hateful and unacceptable social organizations, worst then, the KKK could ever be, justified based on LIES and the weakness of The White Power and The White supremacy movements here in The United States.
This is what the Robert E Lee Statue represented, he got Thousands of Americans and Hundreds of thousands confederates killed to preserve the right to continue the institution of slavery.
I am not shocked to read that you agreed with the President on August 12 and have not seen nothing I've seen since has changed your mind because you are apart of the problem.
I believe in peaceful speech. I think the monuments should stay. You are the one who defends violence not I.

What I said Ron is that you "defend" violence. The people at San Francisco and Berkeley weren't white supremacists. Their rallies were shut down by the Anti-Free Speech movement because they are Trump supporters. The only people that were initiating violence, the only ones arrested were from the Anti-Free Speech side, which you are too Ron.
