'This was a stunt': VP Pence leaves NFL game

On Sunday, VP Mike Pence left Sunday's 49ers-Colts game in Indianapolis after players kneeled during the National Anthem. The move, which is being criticized, was said to be pre-planned.

If the players have the right to protest, the Vice President of the United States has that very same right.

The difference is, when those Men, took a knee, for the injustice by the police across this nation, for killing unarmed Black Men and Women, they protested at their own expense. The first one to lead the peaceful protest, you remember Colin Kaepernick a 49er, who lost his job, for what he believes. In many cases the evidence proof showed the truth, dead to rights, that it was plain MURDER and still, too many are still walking about free.

Now what was VP Mike Pence protesting and at who's expense?

VP Pence wasn't protesting at anyone's expense. He wanted to go to a football game and no one has the right to say he shouldn't. He also had the right to not tolerate being disrespected.

The players that took a knee disrespected the Vice President, the President, and the American Flag.

San Francisco 49ers Safety Eric Reid has also been kneeling during The National Anthem since last season to protest social and racial injustice in America, on Sunday. The VP knew that this was going to happen so, Pence planned to leave the stadium any way, if anyone, took a knee in a peaceful demonstration during The National Anthem.

Our soldiers, our flag or our National Anthem was not the issues here in this opportune moment to bring back attention to the injustice committed by our police officer’s nationwide. This is happening at a time when so many Americans are inspiring our nation with their courage, resolve and resilience.

Just to show you that this was a PR stunt, can you or anybody know the last time The VP ever went to a football game?

It looks like VP Pence's protest was effective.

Albert Breer of the MMQB shared the following letterfrom Roger Goodell, which was sent to NFL team presidents and chief executives on Tuesday afternoon.

"We live in a country that can feel very divided. Sports, and especially the NFL, brings people together and lets them set aside those divisions, at least for a few hours. The current dispute over the National Anthem is threatening to erode the unifying power of our game, and is now dividing us, and our players, from many fans across the country.

I’m very proud of our players and owners who have done the hard work over the past year to listen, understand and attempt to address the underlying issues within their communities. At our September committee meetings, we heard directly from several players about why these issues are so important to them and how we can support their work. And last week, we met with the leadership of the NFLPA and more players to advance the dialogue.

Like many of our fans, we believe that everyone should stand for the National Anthem. It is an important moment in our game. We want to honor our flag and our country, and our fans expect that of us. We also care deeply about our players and respect their opinions and concerns about critical social issues. The controversy over the Anthem is a barrier to having honest conversations and making real progress on the underlying issues. We need to move past this controversy, and we want to do that together with our players.

Building on many discussions with clubs and players, we have worked to develop a plan that we will review with you at next week’s League meeting. This would include such elements as an in-season platform to promote the work of our players on these core issues, and that will help to promote positive change in our country. We want to ensure that any work at the League level is consistent with the work that each club is doing in its own community, and that we dedicate a platform that can enable these initiatives to succeed. Additionally, we will continue the unprecedented dialogue with our players.

I expect and look forward to a full and open discussion of these issues when we meet next week in New York. Everyone involved in the game needs to come together on a path forward to continue to be a force for good within our communities, protect the game, and preserve our relationship with fans throughout the country. The NFL is at its best when we ourselves are unified. In that spirit, let’s resolve that next week we will meet this challenge in a unified and positive way."

Hey Steve, I knew that you would not answer those questions because they was outside of your talking points. Now here you come trying to change the subject to NFL Owners Considering Rule Change Requiring Players to Stand for National Anthem. Steve, you know damn well that this was not the subject.

The subject was "'This was a stunt': VP Pence leaves NFL game." Now don't be like your boy and stick to the subject.

Now let us get back on this topic:

He knew our team has had the most players protest. He knew that we were probably going to do it again. This is what systemic oppression looks like. A man with power comes to the game, tweets a couple things out and leaves the game in an attempt to thwart our efforts," Reid said.

Do you want to try again with those questions?

Wasn’t you who said to VP has the right to protest? What was VP protesting?

Just to show you that this was a PR stunt, can you or anybody know the last time The VP ever went to a football game?

it seems like VP was following orders from the president.

The President asked the Vice President to leave if any of the players took a knee. I agree. I disagree that it was a "stunt". The Vice President protested against the players taking a knee. I agree. I don't know the last time Pence went to a football game. I don't care, not my business. The last time I went to a game was Oakland vs. Kansas City, sometime between 1994 and 1996. There wasn't any of this crap back then. The only thing we had to worry about was the Kansas City fans since it was a home game for Oakland. I was in a skybox but we still had to make it out of the stadium.

The 49ers have been known, to take a knee since the beginning of this season, that is no secret. What Pence did was a miscalculated and unfortunate blunder in BUFFOONERY in his attempts to hide his hands, while embracing the flag.

At taxpayers expense...
