1971 SPECIAL REPORT: "RACIAL TENSIONS IN VIETNAM" (920 hits)
1971 SPECIAL REPORT: "RACIAL TENSIONS IN VIETNAM"
The Vietnam war saw countless numbers of America's young men - both black and white - thrown into combat. They were there to fight the Vietcong but, as tension grew in their ranks, they turned on each other.
"The Vietnam war saw countless numbers of America's young men - both black and white - thrown into combat. They were there to fight the Vietcong but, as tension grew in their ranks, they turned on each other."
The video does not at all support the above statement. Instead for me, these interviews brought back memories of what I think were much better days in American society than what we have now in 2017.
How so the interviews by that brother with those brothers brought back memories of better days in American society.
When I was 14 in 1970, I worked in the canteen at the Valley Forge Army Hospital. When I was 16 in 1972, I hitchhiked from Philly to Mississippi to Memphis to Wisconsin to Minnesota and back to Philly. 1970 to 1972 I met all kinds of Americans and what I heard said in those interviews is just the way I remember it. 1970 to 1972 were better days in America than in 2017.
So Steve, you will have me to believe that the questions of have you been a victim of military racism to a Black soldier in The Vietnam war brought back memories of better days in America's society to you, is that right?
Yes. Like starting at minute 4:27.

I agree that you should believe that soldier in The Vietnam war and his answers. He was not talking about, better days in America's society?
What makes you say this? : " Instead for me, these interviews brought back memories of what I think were much better days in American society than what we have now in 2017."
Steve, experiencing racial discrimination and racial is bias far from home Is not what I call better days. I was there and reports of Friendly fight was no better for this Black American arm forces member Who answered the call to the country.
That's your experience Ron, but 2017 is the worst time in America that I've yet experienced. And your constant negativity is why.

The reason why you say that 2017 is the worst time in America that you yet experienced, you and people like yourself, now realize that you, have been conned by Trump's LIES and his incompetence as the leader of the free world. You also come to realize under Trump's administration and leadership, is drawing the country in the wrong direction and he is not for the middle classes of Americans..
Don't feel surprised of your feelings about Trump because more people who voted for Trump are feeling the same way. It is good that you feel that way Steve because you are feeling some of the same feelings that this young Black American soldier in the Video presentation is conveying in his answers.
Steve it is alright to feel that heaviness in 2017 because that Black American soldier felt in the war zone of Vietnam was feeling that same type of pressures. One pressures coming to him in the form of Life and Death and another set of pressures coming from his rear...
Understand the powers of the rich and the corporations in this country because it is them you want to take back, the country them.
Your prediction of Trump's decline will end the same way as all your prior predictions. It is you Ron who are inflaming racism in 2017 way beyond the level of racism in 1971.

Now how can I inflame racism, when you are telling me about the way you are feeling in 2017?
I never did predict a thing about Trump's decline. I spoke on your awareness of the emptiness you feel during this 2017 administration of Trump. You are coming to the realization that you have been conned by Trump, with your eyes wide open and now you see, just how much you was asleep at the wheel.
It was you who said: " 2017 is the worst time in America that I've yet experienced. If I missed interpreted you, please explain, can you do that?
2017 is dominated by the racist Democratic Party. Those White Masters like the Clintons, Schumer, Pelosi, Perez, Scarborough, O'Donnell, Maddow, Soros et al.

Scarborough, is not a Democrat, what Scarborough is, he is a disgruntled Republican that sees his party in power and still can't get health care passed after 8 years. Who can't get tax reform passed and you still don't know what's in that reformed tax bill. Who's feeling that the Trump Administration's ratings are plummeting because the same people like yourself who's feeling unease growing because of a lack of confidence who voted for Trump, have realized that they have been CONNED and the people don't like it.
I also see that you want to talk about anything else but the subject at hand or answer my simple questions. YOUR WORDS: It is you Ron who are inflaming racism in 2017 way beyond the level of racism in 1971.
MY QUESTION WAS TO YOU: Now how can I inflame racism, when you are telling me about the way you are feeling in 2017, how can I do that?
Joe Scarborough is no more a Republican than he is a rockstar.

Why would you LIE like this Steve? You have no proof of what you say. You just told a damn LIE because LYING is just your nature.
History tells us that Charles Joseph "Joe" Scarborough (born April 9, 1963) served as a Republican U.S. Representative from Florida's 1st congressional district from 1995 through 2001, before resigning to spend more time with his family. He went on to host MSNBC’s Morning Joe and The Joe Scarborough Show on ABC Radio Network.
Now there was talk that Joe Scarborough was so disgruntled, discontented, dissatisfied, displease and so unhappy with the Republican Party, he turned independent. Hey Lying Steve, did you hear me!!!! Joe Scarborough turned "INDEPENDENT PARTY" and not to the Democratic Party. Since you don't know a damn thing about what you are talking about, here take a look at my proof.
Joe Scarborough announces he's leaving the Republican Party https://www.cbsnews.com/news/morning-joe-s... After you read my proof, you can tell the people here on Black In America that you was WRONG about calling Joe Scarborough a Democrat, like you stated here in this weak comment of yours:

The members of Black In America, is waiting for you to tell the truth about Joe Scarborough, Steve can you do that?
I want you to also explain, Now how can I inflame racism, when you are telling me about the way you are feeling in 2017?
