FBI Director Comey appointed McCabe as Deputy Director of the FBI on January 29, 2016, and he assumed those duties on February 1, 2016.[27]

I didn't check for or see your comment between my first and second comments. Andrew McCabe is not or ever was President Trump's man. He's a career FBI agent. He's the one who was holding the meeting with Rosenstein. He's likely the one who leaked the memo.

With Rosenstein, if memory serves, the president stepped up his personal attacks on Rosenstein,once he began the overseeing the special counsel investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia after Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself. I believe Rosenstein is a Republican as well.

Rosenstein was appointed by Trump, McCabe was not. It's McCabe's memo that cites Rosenstein's statement and was leaked to the press. McCabe is a known leaker. He lwas fired for lying about leaking. He's got a book coming out. Why would he leak this memo to the NYT. Don't you watch the news Ron?

That is right Steve, Rosenstein was appointed by Trump and now Trump wants to fire his own hand pick man. That sounds Like a war between the Trump Republicans to me, as this war continues with this Friday Night BoomShell report of "After Manafort and Cohen flip, new leaks attack Mueller’s boss."
Oh by the way Steve, wasn't Manafort and Cohen who pleaded guilty to charges performing duty under Trump and now Trump hand picked men are now talking to Mueller's investigation team? These are just the latest to flip on Trump and the sad part is, you don't except what happened and the reason why?

Most of this last comment is irrelevant and I have no comment. Back to Rosenstein and McCabe. We've distrusted Rosenstein since we found out his name was on the FISA documents. I've thought ever since Rosenstein appointed Mueller that he should be fired, but I thought for sure after the FISA disclosure that the President would can him. This memo is another reason to fire him but for the same reason as always, because our politics is all about the corrupt media now, have very little to do with governance, the President will probably bow to media propaganda again and wait. The significance of this story is the question of why this McCabe memo was leaked to the New York Times. It has NOTHING to do with who's a Republican, appointed by a specific President, or any imagined "war".

War are fought over disagreements and it is plain to see that Trump is running out of time and he want Rod Rosenstein out, so Trump can put someone in, that will fire Mueller.

Looks like House cleaning and the casualties of WAR and chaos which, many of these vacancies are still unfilled to this today according to reports as the war continues.
Steve, Paul Manafort, former chairman of the Trump campaign, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges earlier this month and agreed to cooperate with the special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.
Since taking over the investigation last May, Mueller's team has charged four Americans once affiliated with Trump's campaign or administration, 13 Russian nationals, 12 Russian intelligence officers, three Russian companies, and two other people.
Here's everyone who's been charged in the Mueller probe so far:
Paul Manafort, former Trump campaign chairman
Rick Gates, one of Manafort's business partners
George Papadopoulos, a former Trump campaign adviser and not Trump's coffee boy.
Michael Flynn, Trump's former national security adviser
California businessman Richard Pinedo
Alex van der Zwaan, a Dutch lawyer tied to Manafort and Gates
And 12 Russian intelligence officers

Yes it is Steve, it is easy to eye Trump is overly concerned about the out come of what Paul Manafort has discovered about the Trump envelopment with his TIES to Russia, that man can't sleep at night, just look at how early that man sends out his tweets and you are concerned about Trump yourself because he is not directly helping you, the small people in America.
All these Republican's fear this mid-term elections including Trump.
