HISTORY OF RELIGION (Part 18): SERMON ON THE MOUNT (630 hits)

HISTORY OF RELIGION (Part 18): SERMON ON THE MOUNT

We are now at the Sermon on the Mount. Yahshua is giving a lot of lessons. This Part of the Sermon will be all of Matthew Chapter 5. These are the Points that you will take away from this part of the Series

1) Matthew 5:3-11 is good to ready daily for encouragement and understanding our reward.

2) We are the salt of the earth and should not mix our faith with the world so that we lose our flavor. We need to let our light shine before all

3) Yahshua did not come to destroy the Torah, but to complete it which He did. We are now justified freely by Elohim’s grace through the redemption that is in Yahshua Ha Maschiach

4) Unless our righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, we will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. This is why we need to be led by His Holy Spirit

5) Yahshua shows we are all guilty as if we committed murder if we’ve been angry through our words, thoughts, attitude, or actions unjustly

6) Do not assassinate a person’s character

7) We must protect our eyes from committing adultery.

8) You should not be divorcing for any other reason except s*xual immorality

9) Do Not Swear at all. Let your “YES” be “YES” and your “NO” be “NO”

10) It is no longer an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. Minister to others by walking out your faith in love

11) Love your enemies and those who persecute you
