How long do you think it's been Ron since a former President attacked a sitting President in this way, a mere 2 years into his first term? This proves why Trump won in 2016, and why he will continue to win in 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Did you listen to what The Former-President Barack Obama had to say About what Trump is talking doing about with The Affordable Care Act and how republicans are now running like hell from their own words? That is a tactic that you sometimes uses when you get BUSTED FOR LYING and feel that you have no way out, I WONDER WHY ? To answer your QUESTION STEVE:How long do you think it's been Ron since a former President attacked a sitting President in this way, a mere 2 years into his first term?in this way, a mere 2 years into his first term? Now that is a good question, even after what I call the worst President I have seen in resent time, here's what I mean. f you ever happen to come across a Republican on television these days, chances are that you will hear the name Ronald Reagan. Recent Republican debates are the perfect example of the love fest that the current Republican party has for Reagan as each candidate name drops the former president at every turn. If you only listened to conservatives you would think that Jesus Christ was the only person above Reagan on the totem pole of conservative love. They talk about his love of low taxes, less government and conservative family values. The problem is that when you step out of the conservative dream and come back to reality, you find that not only was Ronald Reagan a bad president, but he was one of the worst presidents we've seen in modern times. Reagan's policies have destroyed the United States for three decades, and for the eight years he was in office, here are a few reasons why I say that Ronald Reagan was the worst president of our lifetime. Here's what comes to mind. If you ever happen to come across a Republican on television these days, chances are that you will hear the name Ronald Reagan. Steve, you remember Ronald Reagan's cut taxes for the Rich, and his increased taxes on the Middle Class don't you? Let me refresh your memory, just in case you have conveniently forget Ronald Reagan is loved by conservatives and was loved by big business throughout his presidency and there's a reason for it. When Reagan came into office in January of 1981, the top tax rate was 70%, but when he left office in 1989 the top tax rate was down to only 28%. As Reagan gave the breaks to all his rich friends, there was a lack of revenue coming into the federal government. In order to bring money back into the government, Reagan was forced to raise taxes eleven times throughout his time in office. One example was when he signed into law the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982. Reagan raised taxes seven of the eight years he was in office and the tax increases were felt hardest by the lower and middle class. Now this began the moment that the rich started paying a lower tax rate then the middle class and the poor, let of move on. Tripling the National Debt - As Reagan cut taxes for the wealthy, the government was left with less money to spend. When Reagan came into office the national debt was $900 billion, by the time he left the national debt had tripled to $2.8 trillion. Now this sound like something right out of the play book, Trump is following. Workers Wages. Unemployment began to drop as the years went on, but the jobs that were created were low paying and barely helped people make ends meet. The middle and lower class had their wages nearly frozen as the top earners saw dramatic increases in salary. Today Unemployment has dropped but wages are still at a all time LOW compared to this booming economy under Donald J. Trump, sounds familiar Steve? last but not least, The attacks on Unions and the Middle Class. The Republican Party, war on unions and the middle class has been heating up in states like Wisconsin and Ohio, but it has been going on for a long time. Unions are formed to give a united voice to the workers in an attempt to create fairness between the corporations and their employees. On August 3rd, 1981, PATCO (Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization) went on strike in an effort to get better pay and safer working conditions. Two days later, taking the side of business, Ronald Reagan fired 11,345 workers for not returning to work. Today Trump said that he wants to "Make America Great Again. Steve," do you really think that America was Great under Ronald Reagan the worst president of our lifetime?

Once out of office, ex-presidents usually fade into private life and stay out of politics. They write memoirs, serve on corporate boards, and start charitable foundations. George W. Bush retired to his ranch in Texas and, most recently, painted portraits of veterans wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bill Clinton was briefly thrust back into politics during Hillary’s two failed presidential campaigns, but most of his post-White House career consisted of flying around the world raising boatloads of money for his family’s now-defunct charity. There are exceptions, of course. Jimmy Carter threw himself into international diplomacy, mediating an agreement in 1994 to return exiled President Jean-Bertrand Aristide to power in Haiti, and generally agitating for a Palestinian state. Then there is Obama. Less than a month out of office, the broad contours of Obama’s post-presidency career are already taking shape. Obama and his loyalists, it seems, will remain in the center of the political fray, officially and unofficially, in an organized effort to undermine the Trump administration. http://thefederalist.com/2017/02/16/obamas...

YOUR WORDS STEVE BUT NOW DELETED: I didn't ask you about Ronald Reagan but since you bring him up Ron, I can say with assurance that he did not do as former President Obama is now doing. I know that you did not ask me about Ronald Reagan but you do see the similarities as Trump is doing to The Middle Class, workers, the sick and the poor in this country. Trump don't care about Workers Wages, The National Debt , Unions and the Middle Class and the middle classes paying more in taxes then his rich friends, leaving your ass in the cold, that Steve is the comparison between the two WORST presidents in this countries history, in my opinion. I also see that you did not touch any of those issues like The attacks on Unions and the Middle Class or Workers Wages or The National Debt or TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH, which allows the Rich, like Trumps friends to pay less in taxes then the poor and middle classes, I WONDER WHY STEVE?

The reason why Ron, is because you are only repeating Democrat talking points and I will not repeat Republican talking points. I don't care about talking points on either side, it is a simple choice for me on Nov. 6. The Democrats don't represent my interests, in particular my 2nd Amendment interests. That's what you get for your talking points.

Hey STEVE, Get a load of this. Obama slams politicians for LYING as he stays focused on the upcoming elections. The Affordable Care Act the Law made it Illegal for the insurance companies to reject the American people with preexisting conditions. Not a single Republican, not one joined us in this effort, not ONE. Can you say NOT ONE? Now since that time they (THE REPUBLICANS) have spent the last eight years, obsessed with trying to undermine, sabotage, repeal that law that makes sure you’re (THE AMERICAN PEOPLE) are not discriminated against because of Pre-existing conditions. They’ve done everything they could, they took over 60 votes in congress to get RID of The (ACA) Affordable Care Act. Now that it’s election season, these same republicans are running millions of dollars’ worth of ads, around the country saying, we’re going to NOW protect the American people with Pre-Existing conditions. HEY STEVE, WHAT HAPPEN? Do you think that The Republicans think that the American people are fools, to believe all of a sudden that they will protect The ACA and The Americans with pre-Existing condition, NOW? Do you believe that The Republicans all of a sudden that they will protect The ACA and The Americans with pre-Existing condition, NOW?

The Republican candidate for PA District 6 is Greg McCauley. His website doesn't mention pre-existing conditions. America is still reeling from the failures of Obamacare. We need to bring down premiums and make healthcare affordable again in PA District 6. Congress should be discussing mutually owned health insurance, where the patients actually own part of the insurance company. Any profits are reinvested back into the company and don’t get funneled away to shareholders on Wall Street. Some of these companies could also be set up as non-profits. Additionally, the portion you pay for your monthly premium should be made tax deductible. But there’s more work to be done. Our existing Medicare and Medicaid programs should be vetted, and we need to eliminate instances of fraud wherever we find them. We can also streamline the prescription drug market by cutting out the middleman and lowering prices for consumers. I’d also like to keep Wall Street from profiting from your cancer diagnosis. As a member of Congress, I’ll always be willing to listen to any proposal that could save my constituents in PA 6 money and expand access to affordable healthcare. https://mccauleyforcongress.com/2018/02/04...

I don't see anything about pre-existing conditions from the Republican Senate candidate either. Saving Taxpayer Money As Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management, Lou has saved taxpayers nearly $4 billion by implementing a policy to move federal agencies into smaller spaces, cutting waste, and forcing them to negotiate long-term leases. Lou has also supported a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution to help get America’s fiscal house in order. Protecting Volunteer Firefighters and First Responders Lou successfully led the push to exempt volunteer firefighters and first responders from Obamacare’s Employer Mandate, which would have forced fire departments across Pennsylvania and the United States to close. For his efforts, Lou received the National Volunteer Fire Council’s “Legislator of the Year” Award. Leading the Fight Against Illegal Immigration Lou has held Congressional leadership accountable on illegal immigration. He led the fight in the House against President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty; continually introduced and advocated for legislation to cut off all federal funding to sanctuary cities; introduced legislation to make overstaying a visa a criminal offense; and co-sponsored legislation to levy a two percent fee on wire transfers sent south of our border and use that revenue to pay for the southern border wall. Finding Solutions to the Opioid Crisis Pennsylvania is one of the states hit hardest by the opioid crisis, and Lou has made combating drug addiction and abuse one of his top priorities. Lou has repeatedly voted to support increased opioid overdose prevention and monitoring efforts, as well as efforts to stop the flow of drugs into our country. Lou was one of only 35 House members to serve on a conference committee with the Senate to negotiate comprehensive legislation addressing our nation’s heroin and opioid crisis. That bill, which was signed into law, included Lou’s legislation protecting babies born addicted to drugs. Stopping Waste, Fraud, and Abuse Lou introduced, and passed through the House, legislation requiring the federal government to verify a person’s eligibility for health care tax credits before the money goes out the door, a loophole that allowed $750 million in taxpayer-funded subsidies to go to more than 500,000 people who did not qualify for those benefits. Standing up for Life Lou is pro-life and believes that innocent life should be protected at every stage of development. Lou has a 100 percent voting record from the National Right to Life and has been endorsed for the United State Senate by CatholicVote.org, one of the nation’s largest grassroots pro-life, family values organizations. Lou has consistently co-sponsored and voted for legislation protecting the sanctity of life, including: the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, banning abortions after 20 weeks; the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, which denies funding to the nation’s largest abortion provider; the Life at Conception Act; and the Heartbeat Protection Act, among others. Lou supports the restoration of legal protection for innocent human life and opposes the efforts of some to increase or expand the protection or establishment of legal euthanasia, abortion, and human cloning. Rescuing Vital After-School Programs Lou was the only member of the House of Representatives, from either party, to receive the Congressional Voice for Children Award from the National Parent Teacher Association for his work in support of after-school programs, such as the successful SHINE (Schools and Homes in Education) program in Carbon, Luzerne, and Schuylkill counties. Lou worked across the aisle with Democratic state Sen. John Yudichak to expand the SHINE after-school program to Luzerne County and rescued federal funding for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program, which provides half of SHINE’s funding. Supporting the 2nd Amendment As a gun owner, Lou supports law-abiding Americans’ 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. He continues to support common-sense measures to prevent criminals from obtaining firearms, while protecting the rights of law-abiding gun owners. He supported common-sense measures like the Fix NICS bill and President Trump’s action against bump stocks. Championing Job Programs A former small business owner in the road construction industry, Lou understands the need to train our workers with the skills necessary to fill in-demand, family-sustaining jobs. As a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, Lou has helped to shape vital legislation providing support for career and technical education programs. Lou will continue to champion the trades as a way to bridge the skills gap in our workforce and provide a pathway forward for our nation in an increasingly globally competitive economy. As a co-Chair of the Congressional Job Corps Caucus, Lou also protected funds for the Job Corps program from impending cuts. His persistence earned a commitment from Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta to defend the program and work with the caucus to improve and strengthen the program. Defending Israel and the Jewish Community Lou is a staunch and vocal defender of Israel and the Jewish community. Lou has fought for American victims of terror attacks by the Palestinian Authority; led efforts to fund Homeland Security grants for non-profit organizations; authorized legislation making synagogues and churches are eligible for disaster assistance funding; and urged the Department of Homeland Security to investigate bomb threats against Jewish Community Centers. Lou also supported bills to condemn terrorist attacks and hostility toward Israel; punish Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas; prohibit U.S. taxpayer assistance to the Palestinian Authority until they stop rewarding terrorists and their families when they kill Israelis and Americans; and, provide U.S. foreign assistance to Israel, particularly the annual security assistance funding, including support for Iron Dome and David's Sling. Lou remains an outspoken opponent of the disastrous Iran Deal, which gave Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, access to $100 billion dollars, paved the way for Iran to eventually achieve nuclear weapons capability, and puts the existence of Israel at risk. Promoting Fair Trade for American Workers Lou has consistently fought to ensure that American products are sold around the world in a competitive market, with a level playing field that protects American jobs. Lou opposed the flawed Trans-Pacific Partnership and praised President Trump’s decision to pull out of it. Lou also successfully fought to include protections for American workers as part of the Trade Promotion Authority Act, which allows the United States to compete with countries like China to sell our products around the world. Lou made sure that the final agreement prevented foreign workers from taking American jobs, took strong action to stop currency manipulation, and ensured that America would go after countries that cheat. For his leadership to strengthen laws against Chinese dumping of steel and to ensure laws against unfair trade are strictly enforced, Lou was named a “2015 Congressional Steel Champion” by the American Iron and Steel Institute. http://www.loubarletta.com/fighting_for_us

It's a given Ron, that Democrats in general don't do anything to support Trump. On the gun issue, I am correct and you are wrong. Two years ago, when Democrat Chrissy Houlahan began running for Congress, people told the military veteran and former high school teacher to stay away from one topic: Gun control. "There was a caution to me … that it wasn't a quote-unquote winning issue," she recalled. But she ignored the advice. And since she announced her candidacy, a rash of mass shootings, including the one in February in Parkland, Fla., have rocked the country. Supporting major gun-control policies, she has been endorsed by gun-safety groups and is favored to win a newly redrawn seat that in its last configuration has been long held by Republicans. The shift Houlahan noticed in the Sixth District, which now covers Chester County and part of Berks County — suddenly there was "permission to talk" about gun issues, she said — is one that activists say is echoed nationwide. Gun control, once considered a third rail in American politics, has emerged as a prominent issue in races across the country, particularly in several key congressional districts. The prospects for passing gun-control bills in Congress would improve immensely if Democrats capture the 23 seats they need to flip the House – which some polls suggest they might do – and gun-control platforms might improve their prospects. http://www2.philly.com/philly/news/gun-con...
