Nice. I used to do a lot of photography back in the day of the Nikon F3 and Tri-X. In Chinese the same word, 心 (xīn), is used for both heart and mind.

Hello Mr. Williams, thanks for the reply to my post I would surely like to see some of your work, I think this website is a good place to express photography works. Nikon F3 and Tri-X wow I'm sure your work is good. Today I learned a chinese word from my friend Mr. Williams.

I have my F3 and a carton of Tri-X with me here in Coatesville but all my collection from the 80's to 90's are in storage in California. I haven't used the F3 for a long time because when I did B&W in the past I was able to perfect my technique by developing and printing my own shots. I haven't done that in about 20 years. I'll look through my iPhone and see what I have. Here's a shot I took in 2014 when they were experimenting with the weather above my house in Coatesville.

Okay, I just got excited when I heard F3, Tri-X and I started daydreaming about old school style photography with the 35 mm and all that. Digital photography is great there is just something about manual photography production that I like and I like to hold on to even in this time of super megapixels. Good day Mr. Williams.

Good day DJ. I was thinking if I could find a good lab I might dust off the F3 and give it a try again. I used to expose Tri-X with the meter set for ISO 250. I got better detail in the shadows that way but I knew when I developed/printed what to expect. Do you happen to know of a good lab?

Hello Mr. Williams, sorry I don't know of one and with everything gone digital it maybe hard to find one open anymore. You just reminded of the print shop that I use to go to near colonial williamsburg in Virginia. That shop did some excellent prints, their contrast quality was unmatched in my opinion. I'm daydreaming again, good day my friend Mr. Williams.
