Wow!!! About the author (2008)

Warren Maye is editor and contributing writer of Good News!, the Salvation Army's USA Eastern Territory monthly news magazine, as well as contributing editor and writer to Priority!, a quarterly magazine about people who have been touched by the Army's ministry nationwide. Warren joined The War Cry staff in 1981, serving as associate editor and art director for 10 years. In 1991, hemoved to Greater New York Divisional Headquarters as assistant to the director of communications. In 1994, he moved to Territorial Headquarters where he now serves as Good News! editor and assistant literary secretary. Warren graduated from The New School for Social Research (now New School University) as Parsons School of Design, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He later earned a Master of Arts in Communications from Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He has worked in publishing for 30 years, designing high school science and history textbooks for Harper & Row Publishers (now Harper Collins), Random House Publishers, Youth Education, Inc. Fairchild Publications, Harcourt Brace-Javanovitch (now Harcourt Brace), and Dun & Bradstreet, Inc.
