While it is well known that slave owners routinely raped enslaved Africans, the actual extent of these atrocities is rarely discussed. This list highlights seven of the most abominable acts committed on s*x farms.

I cannot help but to wonder if the things that occurred in this video had a lasting impact on the s*xual behavior of many Black people in America as it relates to having babies with multiple people out of wedlock. Yes I do believe the welfare system has played a part in all of this, but knowing what I know NOW, I am inclined to believe the welfare system simply FACILITATED AND PERPETUATED what began during slavery as this all relates to the reckless s*xual behavior that plagues our race and contributes to the tendency of so many Black men to father multiple children with multiple women (and vice versa) while being unwilling to help raise and support them.
We need to step back and look at what we're doing so we can learn to outgrow, out-think and evolve beyond the slave-based and socio-economic programming that appears to have become part of our child-bearing behaviors. I still believe it is these same behaviors that prevent so many Black people from getting out of "The Hood." I say this simply because so many of us fail to give ourselves time and the opportunity to get our lives and finances together before having children. We therefore end up bringing MORE Black children into the world to grow up in these environments. It's a cycle that only we can break. Don't get mad at my comment... watch the video, and get mad at the history and its impact!
