There are absolutely no historical records that portray Buddha as Aryan or White.

The first people who conceptualized and worshipped the divine image of the Negroid mould of humanity were the Negroes, and they actually started the practice of Buddhism, the world's first missionary religion.
Buddha was an Enlightened Master from the Sakya clan of the Naga Race, and was the first man on earth to preach the great principles of equality, liberty and fraternity. He caused the Nagas to become conscious of their own mind power as opposed to the mantra power.

Buddhism, whose doctrines include the Golden Rule, was established 500 years before Christianity in the area now called the Middle East (Africa). Buddha is not a name but a title meaning Enlightened One, Blessed One, or to Become awake. Over the centuries, there have been several recorded Buddhas like Gautama, Sakayanumi, and Siddhartha. Black Buddhist missionaries introduced Buddhism to China, Japan and other countries.

It is clear therefore that Buddhism did not start in Japan nor China, yet it is professed and practiced by millions of devotees throughout Asia. Under the Black King Ashoka, the religion of this Negro God was spread throughout Europe, even into the remotest parts of Britain. Buddhism actually started on the India Continent where the first inhabitants were Black people who had migrated from Ethiopia some 50,000 years earlier, establishing what is known as the Indus Valley Civilization.

There were two types of Blacks from Africa who created the first civilization of mankind. One was the Nubian, who had broad features and Woolly, Nappy hair, while the other had the aquiline nose with straight hair,(Dravidian) but both were early descendents straight out of Black Africa.

What do you mean, "their own mind power as opposed to the mantra power?"

Steve Williams
OK! Great question: For the benefit of the people that do not have no idea about the word MANTRA, Steve so, let us first establish, "What is a mantra?"

The Power of Mantra. A mantra is a word or series of words chanted aloud or silently to invoke spiritual qualities. Chanting is used as a spiritual tool in virtually every cultural and religious tradition. In the yogic tradition a mantra is a Sanskrit word that has special powers to transform mind, body and spirit.

Tibetan mantras are syllables, words, or phrases with a spiritual significance which, by repetition, have beneficial effects on all levels of your being: physical (healing), mental (reconciliation, harmonization) and spiritual (states of enlightenment).

The meaning of the word ”mantra” in Sanskrit is ‘protector of mind’. Our minds are often overwhelmed by stress and anxiety.

Chanting mantras gives the mind something positive to focus on (just like pranayama breathing helps the body relax).

They can be accompanied by a song (chanting), pronounced aloud (japa, repetition) or they can be pronounced only mentally, with awareness breaks (meditation).

Mantras have been used for millennia particularly in Eastern spiritual practice, but they are quite prevalent in the West as well.

Mantras are like a trampoline helping you leave lower frequencies and propel yourself to high frequencies, toward higher dimensions from manifestation.

The best word that comes to mind is TRANSFORMATION. learning about the characteristics include not having a supreme god or deity rather placing premium on attainment, achieving enlightenment – a state of inner peace and wisdom as well as embracing the concepts of Karma (the law of cause and effect) and reincarnation (the continuous cycle of rebirth).

Ron, I use the mantra "nam miao fa lian hua jing" in my buddhist practice, so it wasn't the mantra itself I was asking about. I just think "mantra power" is "mind power." They're the same thing. Also, as a buddhist I do have a "supreme god."

I know…

Did you know that the original Buddha was black?

Friday, December 3rd 2021 at 5:01PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
Of the 32 marks of the buddha, "black" is not one of them. The buddha's skin is golden, as you will see listed below..

thirty-two features [三十二相] ( sanjūni-sō): Remarkable physical characteristics attributed to Buddhas, bodhisattvas, Brahmā, Shakra, and wheel-turning kings, symbolizing their superiority over ordinary people. They are (1) flat soles, (2) markings of a thousand-spoked wheel on the soles, (3) long, slender fingers, (4) broad, flat heels, (5) webbed feet and hands, (6) extremely flexible limbs, (7) protuberant insteps, (8) slender legs like those of a deer, (9) hands that extend past the knees even in a standing position, (10) concealed genitals, (11) body height equal to arm span, (12) body hair that turns upward, (13) one hair growing from each pore, (14) golden skin, (15) light radiating from the body, (16) thin pliant skin, (17) well-developed muscles of the hands, feet, shoulders, and nape of neck, (18) well-developed muscles below the armpits, (19) a dignified torso like that of a lion, (20) a large and straight body, (21) substantial shoulders, (22) forty teeth, (23) even teeth, (24) four white fangs, (25) full cheeks like those of a lion, (26) an unexcelled sense of taste, (27) a long broad tongue, (28) a pure and far-reaching voice, (29) eyes the color of blue lotus blossoms, (30) long eyelashes like those of a cow, (31) a knot of flesh on the head like a topknot, and (32) a tuft of white hair between the eyebrows, curling to the right. The descriptions and order of these features differ slightly among the Buddhist scriptures. According to The Treatise on the Great Perfection of Wisdom, they are acquired one by one as a result of good causes made over a total of three asamkhya kalpas and one hundred major kalpas. Great Perfection of Wisdom also says that in the case of a wheel-turning king these marks are somewhat vague and unstable, while in the case of a Buddha they are obvious and stable. The Buddha is often referred to as possessing the “thirty-two features and eighty characteristics,” the eighty characteristics being another set of remarkable qualities possessed by Buddhas and bodhisattvas.

Steve, The statues of ancient Buddahs of the East depicted him as having woolly hair is always shown in corn rows, or in a pepper corn style with small tight curls. Original statues of Buddha clearly show him to be Africoid, with the wide nose, thick lips and frizzy, nappy, hair which are distinctive Negro characteristics. In most ancient temples throughout Asia where he is still worshipped, he is shown as[b] jet Black. In fact, in most of the ancient temples of Asia and India, statues of the gods and goddesses have African features with woolly hair in the pepper corn style, while some even have dreadlocks. These pictures of Buddha portray him in no uncertain terms as a [b]Negro with kinky, coiled hair, a flat nose and full LIPS.
Steve, There are absolutely no historical records that portray Buddha as Aryan or White NONE, NO PROOF AT ALL.

Original statues of Buddha depict him as an Afrikan with a wide nose, thick lips and woolly, nappy hair which are distinctive Negroid features. In many ancient temples throughout Asia where he is still worshipped, he is portrayed as jet Black. You must not have understood the picture on the cover of my book. It's a picture of the Ceremony in the Air. In the Treasure Tower, in the middle of the picture you will see two figures, look at them closely Ron. They are Shakyamuni Buddha and Many Treasures Buddha. Do you see what color they are?

I thought maybe you could tell Ron, I'm not 100% certain. It's a picture of a cave painting in China and the Buddhas don't look like any Chinese I have ever seen.

You said, the your video doesn't provide any references. Steve, you did not see this video with understanding because the first Buda was an ordinary person and his name was Siddhartha Gutama. The Original Buddha was a Black Man with "Negroid" features, who's profound insight influence the world. In general Buddha means awakened one. Steve, did you know that Buddhism was in Africa over a thousand years before it ever reached Asia.

As a matter of reference, the true history of the Buddha from India has been known to most serious scholars for many generations. Steve have you heard the book titled Anacolypsis?

This is just one historian, English Historian and linguist Godfrey Higgins which was referenced in this video report Steve that published a massive 2-volume book in 1833 on the history of The Negro Buddhist.

You are talking about Buddhas from the 5th and 6th centuries, and I am talking about history some 500 years before Christianity.

I know all this maybe new to you, but the enlightenment is the goal and that is still the same by taking the journey to gain knowledge.

Take the journey Steve because you are here for a reason.

Tuesday, December 7th 2021 at 7:17PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
I'm the Buddhist Ron, not you. You are the one that rejects profound knowledge, wisdom that has nothing to do with your self-assumed title of Untouchable. But just do me a favor and give me the references for the two quotes of Herodotus your video makes. I'll even make it easy for you and give you the time markers. Give me a sec.

Wow Steve, The ancient buddha was black. The Asian don’t have thick lips or a wide nose and you know Good and well that the Japanese has no Facial distinctions in common what so ever.

Just tell me where to find those words of Herodotus. I can find them online Ron, if you give me the chapter reference. But we have already seen, as in the case with the naked philosopers (i.e. the gymnosophists), Herodotus was made-up by these unknown narrators.

A Note to the Readers: Any one who reads the following passages cannot but wonder from where Herodotus would have drawn his information to portray the Indian tribes he mentions here. To those who are not familiar, Heordotus was an ancient Greek Historian who gained fame for his monumental work called the Histories (440 BC). Herodotus never visited India and therefore must have relied upon some external source/s to write about the Indian tribes he mentions in these passages. Readers are therefore requested to read these passages with an open mind or for mere amusement and draw their own conclusions. On my part I was almost tempted to name this piece as "The Imaginary India of Herodotus."

III.101: All the tribes which I have mentioned live together like the brute beasts: they have also all the same tint of skin, which approaches that of the Ethiopians.

Let us break the Black Buddha issue down in simple and plain terms. Dr. Clyde Winters is an excellent source to help bring an understanding to this issue. Let us start with the word "NAGA." NAGA according to Dr. Winters; "Naga/Nagash was also the title 'King' for the ancient Semitic speaking people of modern Ethiopia who lived in Arwe, and ancient kingdom in Punt. In addition, the ability of the Ethiopians as sailors, is supported by the title bahr nagash, "ruler of the maritime province" or Eritrea."

"According to Ethiopian traditions the first empire was founded by Za Besi Angabo, of the Arwe line which ruled Ethiopia for 350 years. This dynasty began in 1370 B.C. The traditions of this dynasty are recorded in the Kebra Nagast , or "Glory of Kings". (Doresse 1971)

In a way that you can understand many of you read in history and in the Bible about the Black "Queen of Sheba" who had a baby by King Solomon. The Queen of Sheba was a Naga. The Ethiopians ruled "India." In the old days India was known as "Eastern Ethiopia."

Steve, The Dragon King’s Daughter parable appears in the Devadatta (twelfth) chapter of the Lotus Sutra, in which the Buddha explains for the first time that a female is able to attain enlightenment. Within this parable, Shakyamuni Buddha introduces Bodhisattva Monjushiri to Bodhisattva Chishaku in order to teach about the enlightenment of the Dragon King’s daughter.

The Lotus Sutra the highest of the Buddha Shakymuni's teaching we learn about the "Dragon King's Daughter. She was a "Naga Girl." The Naga people of India were the Buddhist. The Naga people came from Africa and records show that the Nagas came from Ethiopia to India. Ancient Dravidian writings give us a great detail about Dravian People we were Naga People. Written right on our Gohonzon is the "Dragon King's Daughter who was a "Naga Girl" this is Black history hidden right in the depts of the Daishonin's Buddhism. To a Japanese this information may not matter however, from the standpoint of Buddhist history.

When you study Black history you learn about the Ancient Nubians. In the Bible they are called "Cush" or Ku****es. When you learn African/American Buddhist history you learn that the "Nubians" and the "Naga" people in India are one and the same people. You also learned from my lecture that the Buddhist in Ancient Africa were called Gymnosophist. We learned that Buddhist or Gymnosophist were in Sudan or Meroe the ancient capital of the Nubians. The Apedemak capital was in the city of "Naga" in Sudan. Buddhist scholars introduced Buddhism to Africa. Buddhist came before and after King Asoka sent missionaries to Meroe. We know that the Buddhist language of Kharosthi was spoken and influenced the Meroe writing language system. Clearly the "Lotus Flower" etched in stone at the Apedemak Temple proves the Buddhist influence and relationship in Africa.

No Ron. The Buddha is a supernatural being. Ethnicity is not one of the Buddha's attributes. Let me show you what I mean by "a supernatural being."

At that time the world-honored one, in the presence of the men such as Manjushri, the immeasurable hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, millions of bodhisattvas mahasattva who from of old had dwelled in the saha world, and the monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen, the heavenly beings, dragons, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kimnaras, mahoragas, the human and nonhuman beings—before all these he displayed his great supernatural powers. He extended his long broad tongue upward till it reached the Brahma heaven, and from all his pores he emitted immeasurable, countless, colored beams of light that illuminated all the worlds in the ten directions.

The other buddhas, seated on lion seats underneath the numerous jeweled trees, did likewise, extending their long broad tongues and emitting immeasurable beams of light. When Shakyamuni Buddha and the other buddhas beneath the jeweled trees thus displayed their supernatural powers, they did so for fully a hundred thousand years. After that they drew in their tongues again, coughed in unison, and all together snapped their fingers. The sounds made by these two actions filled all the buddha worlds in the ten directions, and the earth in all of them quaked and trembled in six different ways.

The Buddha is a being of light. He is not BLACK Ron.

The Eternal Buddha of the Lotus Sutra (Steve have you heard of this?)

SGI interpretation of the Eternal Buddha (One who manifests the Eternal Law of Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo) is consistent with Nichiren writings. Both Shakyamuni and Nichiren as persons - passed away, so we cannot call the person of Shakyamuni or Nichiren - as being eternal. What is eternal is the life of Shakyamuni and Nichiren, the life of Buddhahood. This “life of Buddhahood” is NamMyohoRengeKyo. Buddhahood was perfectly manifested by both Shakyamauni and Nichiren.

“Good men, if there are living beings who come to me, I employ my buddha eye to observe whether their faith and other faculties are keen or dull, and then depending upon how receptive they are to salvation, I appear in different places and preach to them under different names, and describe my life span as long or short. Sometimes when I make my appearance I say that I am about to enter nirvana, and also employ different expedient means to preach the subtle and wonderful Law, thus causing living beings to awaken joyful minds.

“Good men, the thus come one observes how among living beings there are those who delight in lesser teachings, meager in virtue and heavy with defilement. For such persons I describe how in my youth I left my household and attained supreme perfect enlightenment. But in truth the time since I attained buddhahood is extremely long, as I have told you. It is simply that I use this expedient means to teach and convert living beings and cause them to enter the buddha way. That is why I speak in this manner.

“Good men, the scriptures expounded by the thus come one are all for the purpose of saving and emancipating living beings. Sometimes I speak of myself, sometimes of others; sometimes I present myself, sometimes others; sometimes I show my own actions, sometimes those of others. All that I preach is true and not false.

“Why do I do this? The thus come one perceives the true aspect of the threefold world exactly as it is. There is no ebb or flow of birth and death, and there is no existing in this world and later entering extinction. It is neither substantial nor empty, neither consistent nor diverse. Nor is it what those who dwell in the threefold world perceive it to be. All such things the thus come one sees clearly and without error.

Frank Church from London commenting on the subject of the Buddha’s knotted hair on quora.com submitted: “The most logical answer is that Buddha was a Negro or had Negroid features, which some Asian populations still have, such as the Aeta and Agta of the Philippines and the Semang of Malaysia. The image probably harks back to an era before the Negroid population of Asia reduced and in fact there is no reason to believe that Siddartha Gautama couldn’t have had such features as some Tibetans and Nepalese retained that kind of hair texture into the 20th century and some of them may still do. You should also note that many Buddha paintings feature him with a black complexion and it is only reasonable that he should retain the hair texture currently associated with Africans. Coupled with the widow’s peak in most of his sculptures and paintings the Buddha image probably derives from an earlier population on mainland Indian who may have looked like the Jarawa of the Andaman Islands, as can be seen in these Jarawa people.”

His submission is as straight as it is succinct. Given that melanated people are the first global citizens making the movement from continental Africa to Indo-China, the Pacific and then the Americas. It is not without merit that the Buddha was of African extraction hence his Africoid features which till recent alterations to the painting and slendering of the lips and nose was a common feature in countries like Tibet, India, Malaysia and others.

According to author Gerald Massey: “It is certain that the Black Buddha of India was imaged in the ‘Negro’ type. In the Negro God, whether called Buddha or Sut-Nahsi [Nehesi] we have datum. They carry their color in the proof of their origin. The people who first fashioned and worshipped the divine image in the Negroid mold of humanity must, according to ALL knowledge of human nature, have been Negroes themselves. For blackness is not merely mystical, the features and hair of Buddha belonged to the Black Race and Nahsi [Nehesi] is the Negro name.” (Volume 1pp.18,218 – A Book of Beginnings.)

I saw a bunch of pictures with no captions Ron.

Shakyamuni, like Jesus, may or may not be a real man that existed in space and time. You can't even prove he existed historically, and yet you claim to know his etnicity. Ethnicity doesn't natter, that is not of any significance with respect to the Buddha.

Ron, do you want me to worship the Negro?

WOW!!! Steve, do you here what you are saying, you also saw the image of Gautama passed away around 483 B.C. Upon his death, his followers began to organize a religious movement using the Buddha’s teachings which became the foundation for what is now Buddhism.

It, however, took Ashoka the Great; the Mauryan Indian emperor in 3rd century B.C. to make Buddhism a state religion of India.

A significant attribute of many of the Buddhist statues in Asia and beyond is the knotted hair of the Buddha.

Africoid (features) for our purpose refers to those native inhabitants of Asia whose phenotype closely resembles that of Africans. Asia’s Africoid populations include such groups as the Dravidians of India and various peoples of Southeast Asia and the South Seas referred to as Melanasians, Oceanic Negroids, Negritos, Australoids and more.

Steve, is the purpose of The Buddhist Religion is to reaching enlightenment? What difference do it makes if Gautama was BLACK? Why should you miss a beat, in your belief?

Africoid (features) for our purpose refers to those native inhabitants of Asia whose phenotype closely resembles that of Africans. Asia’s Africoid populations include such groups as the Dravidians of India and various peoples of Southeast Asia and the South Seas referred to as Melanasians, Oceanic Negroids, Negritos, Australoids and more.

Ancient African Affirmations on Facebook also reckoned: “Buddha of India was Black. That is why his woolly hair is always shown in corn rows, or in a pepper corn style with small tight curls. Original statues of Buddha clearly show him to be Africoid, with the wide nose, thick lips and frizzy, na…ppy, hair which are distinctive Negro characteristics. In most ancient temples throughout Asia where he is still worshipped, he is shown as jet Black. In fact, in most of the ancient temples of Asia and India, statues of the gods and goddesses have Africoid features with woolly hair in the pepper corn style, while some even have dreadlocks. These pictures of Buddha portray him in no uncertain terms as a Negro with kinky, coiled hair, a flat nose and full lips……. Buddha was an Enlightened Master from the Sakya clan of the Naga (n*gga) Race, and was the first man on earth to preach the great principles of equality, liberty and fraternity. He caused the Nagas (n*ggas) to become conscious of their own mind power as opposed to the mantra power. Black Buddhist missionaries introduced Buddhism to China, Japan and other countries.”

Steve, I have done the research and found this information on the Black Buddha I still come back to this question Steve: What difference do it makes if Gautama was BLACK? Why should you miss a beat, in your belief in reaching Enlightenment?

I am standing by.

There was no concept of race in ancient times. Ancient people did not label people according to their race or skin color nor did they focus on them. Buddhist texts focused on Buddha's teachings instead of his appearance.

Buddha was born in the Shakya clan in Lumbini Nepal. His name is Siddhartha Gautama also called Shakyamuni. These two information already hints that Buddha belongs to the South Asian ethno-cultural group.

Buddha was born into a Hindu family. This already takes away possibility that he is Central Asian. Most Central Asians practised Zoroastrianism instead of Hinduism. Hinduism is probably a merge of Vedic religion, Dravidian and native Indus Valley religion. The Hindus also wrote in Indic/Brahmi writing script distinguished from surrounding people.

Although Buddhism was naturalized into Central Asian cultures. They were one of the core pillars of Buddhism in ancient times. However, it doesn't make Buddha a Central Asian.

Buddhist statues in ancient Afghanistan, Central Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia all described Buddha as South Asian. There's a Bodhisattva called Budai who's a fat looking Chinese person. But he is not Siddhartha Gautama. He is an enlightened monk who's taken as Maitreya or Bodhisattva in Chinese/Mahayana Buddhism.

What skin color Buddha actually has doesn't really matter. He can be of any skin color. But that doesn't make him more “African” or any other ethnicity than his own ethno-cultural identity.

"Let a man overcome anger by kindness, evil by good" - Buddha

Buddhism, whose doctrines include that Golden Rule, was established 500 years before Christianity in the North Africa area now called the Middle East (Africa).

By the way Steve did you know that both Buddhism and Christianity was developed and practice by the black and brown (Negro) people in Africa?

That is not what the history of Buddhism dictate. There were at least ten Buddhas mentioned in the sacred books of India. Black Buddhist missionaries introduced Buddhism to China, Japan and other countries. Under the Black King Ashoka, the religion of this Negro God was spread throughout Europe and into the remotest parts of Britain.

Before that Steve, Buddhism’s first inhabitants were Black people who had migrated from Ethiopia some 50,000 years earlier and had set up what is known as the Indus Valley Civilization.

Those are the FACTS Steve. Now show me what makes you make that bogus claim?

Ron, the thing at that link that interested me was this:

The ethic of reciprocity or "The Golden Rule" is a fundamental moral principle found in virtually all major religions and cultures, which simply means "treat others as you would like to be treated." It is arguably the most essential basis for the modern concept of human rights. Principal philosophers and religious figures have stated it in different ways:

"Love your neighbor as yourself." Moses (ca. 1525-1405 BCE) in the Torah, Leviticus 13:19
"What you do not wish upon yourself, extend not to others." —Confucius (ca. 551–479 BCE)
"What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man." —Hillel (ca. 50 BCE-10 CE)
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." —Jesus (ca. 5 BCE—33 CE) in the Luke 6:31, Luke 10:27 (affirming of Moses]
"Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you." Muhammad (c. 571 – 632 CE) in The Farewell Sermon
'Let a man overcome anger by kindness, evil by good' - Buddha

The Buddha that I follow, does not teach The Golden Rule.

That is the extent of my interest at that link Ron, because it was easy to see it was mostly propaganda.

Monday, December 13th 2021 at 2:34PM
Steve Williams
The thing that I see that you have overlooked:

It was the opinion of Sir William Jones, that a great nation of Blacks* formerly possessed the dominion of Asia, and held the seat of empire at Sidon. These must have been the people called by Mr. Maurice Cu****es or Cuthites, described in Genesis; and the opinion that they were Blacks is corroborated by the translators of the Pentateuch, called the Seventy, constantly rendering the word Cush by Ethiopia.

The religion of Buddha, of India, is well known to have been very ancient. In the most ancient temples scattered throughout Asia, where his worship is yet continued, he is found black as jet, with the flat face, thick lips, and curly hair of the Negro. Several statues of him may be met with the East-India Company. There are two exemplars of him brooding on the face of the deep, upon a coiled serpent. To what time are we to allot this Negro ? He will be proved to have been prior to Cristna. He must have been prior to or contemporaneous with the black empire, supposed by Sir William Jones to have flourished at Sidon.

The religion of this Negro God is found, by the ruins of his temples and other circumstances, to have been spread over an immense extent of country, even to the remotest parts of Britain, and to have been professed by devotees inconceivably numerous. …

Mr. Wilsford, in his treatise on Egypt and the Nile, in the Asiatic Researches, informs us, that many very ancient statues of the God Buddha in India have crisp, curly hair, with flat noses and thick lips; and adds,

"nor can it be reasonably doubted, that a race of Negroes formerly had power and pre-eminence in India."

In my Essay on The Celtic Druids, I have shown, that a great nation called Celtæ, of whom the Druids were the priests, spread themselves almost over the whole earth, and are to be traced in their rude gigantic monuments from India to the extremities of Britain. Who these can have been but the early individuals of the black nation of whom we have been treating I know not, and in this opinion I am not singular. - Godfrey Higgins.

This is from the link you wanted me to see, THANKS STEVE.

Ron, try to focus. I was the one that pointed out the falsehood of these two paragraphs:

The ethic of reciprocity or "The Golden Rule" is a fundamental moral principle found in virtually all major religions and cultures, which simply means "treat others as you would like to be treated." It is arguably the most essential basis for the modern concept of human rights. Principal philosophers and religious figures have stated it in different ways:

"What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man." —Hillel (ca. 50 BCE-10 CE)
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." —Jesus (ca. 5 BCE—33 CE) in the Luke 6:31, Luke 10:27 (affirming of Moses]
"Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you." Muhammad (c. 571 – 632 CE) in The Farewell Sermon
'Let a man overcome anger by kindness, evil by good' - Buddha

And ever since you have been running from YOUR enlightenment.

Whether the Buddha ever said 'Let a man overcome anger by kindness, evil by good', I don't know - there are many sutra's. Maybe that Buddha was Saint Paul.

I follow the Buddha of the Lotus Sutra and that Buddha has expounded a greater moral code than the Golden Rule. It says to treat everyone as if they are the Buddha.

Just in these first couple paragraphs I could see the author was not worth my time and I stopped reading.

Ron, the Buddha has supernatural powers, like this:

The Buddha is depicted in black to highlight that "from all his pores he emitted immeasurable, countless, colored beams of light that illuminated all the worlds in the ten directions."

Gautama Buddha, the first Buddha was Human and was born 563–483 BCE in Lumbini. Gautama enlightenment was quite modest. Guatama's enlightenment was the path of least suffering. I believe this is the goal of many Buddhist wart to reach in life and that goal means you don't have a God to reach that.

The Buddha was a man with supernatural powers, like Jesus. You're wrong about what the Buddha's enlightenment is Ron, and we have the Buddha to reach to. He is the father and savior of the world.

Gautama Buddha, was not like Yeshua (Jesus) Tell me something Steve, did Gautama Buddha walk on water?

Steve, did Gautama Buddha feed 5000 people?

Steve, did Gautama Buddha control the Weather?

Steve, did Gautama Buddha control the fish in the sea?

Steve, did Gautama Buddha ever turn water into wine?

Gautama Buddha was not like Yeshua (Jesus) at all.

Nobody, not even Jesus, walked on water or did any of those other 'miracles.' The Catholic Church centuries ago slipped those fables into the scriptures, to control those with weak minds. The original Jesus, before the Papists go a hold on him, was like the Buddha.

In the Lotus Sutra there are many examples of fantastic events, but we know that they are there to inspire faith. The early Christians likewise had such stories, but the Papists abused those stories and turned them all into stories that inspire fear, not faith. They were able to do that by convincing their followers that the miracle stories were historical events. That was believable in the medieval age, but now we know history in the gospel age was made the same way as it is in 2021.

I can say the same thing about you to Steve but that is not my purpose. By the way, Steve the Papists is not my way to Salvation.

The purpose of this blog was to inform you that The First Buddha was Afrikan (Black)

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said “with this faith I shall carve a tunnel of hope through a mountain of despair.” Dr. Martin Luther King is said to have exemplified the highest character in “human nature.” More certainly Dr. Martin Luther King is a Black Revolutionary Hero. This African/American History lecture is to introduce to the world “The Buddha The 1st Black Revolutionary Hero.” The best way to understand the “Buddha” is to understand Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Martin Luther King tapped an area of conscientiousness or faith we Buddhist call the “Buddha or Enlighten Nature.” Whether one is a Christian, Muslim, Jew or Atheist within the deepest repository of Human Conscientiousness is what is called a Buddha Nature or an “Enlighten life condition.” Nelson Mandela demonstrated a type of enlighten nature. Buddha means “Life or Wisdom.”

British Historian Godfrey Higgins wrote in in his 1833 book the Anacalypisis that Buddha was a Negro and the prototype of a Christian was a Buddhist. 500 years before the advent of Christ there lived a man known as the Buddha or an “Enlighten One.” Godfrey Higgins also points out in his book the “Anacalypisis” that the Buddha Shakyamuni of India was the “Younger Buddha“ but the Elder Buddha in history is non other than Hermes Trismegistus the Egyptian God of Wisdom. Many Afro-Centrist refer to Hermes as “Amenhotep.” Godfrey Higgins hypothesize that way back in History Buddhist ruled the world and there were fascinating Cyclopean structures these African Buddhist built way before time. Higgins describe “Stonehenge in Britain as an ancient Buddhist temple. Higgins clearly describes the Ancient Egyptians as Buddhist.

The number of buddhas is many times the number of Ganges sands Ron. You can't put your finger on "the first." Don't forget that I was converted and saved by an African-American female bodhisattva named Irma Robinson, born June 12, 1942 in Jacksonville, NC, whose memory I'll always revere. As far as Shakyamuni, the legend is he was from Nepal. It's not important to my faith whether he is even historically "real", as I've said, and you can't prove a historical Shakyamuni any more than you can prove a historical Jesus.

Hey Steve, is this paragraph true?

Buddha of India was Black. This is why his woolly hair is always shown in corn rows, or in a pepper corn style with small tight curls. Original statues of Buddha depict him as an Afrikan with a wide nose, thick lips and woolly, nappy hair which are distinctive Negroid features. In many ancient temples throughout Asia where he is still worshipped, he is portrayed as jet Black. In most of the ancient temples of Asia and India, statues of the gods and goddesses have Afrikan features with woolly hair in the pepper corn style, while others have dreadlocks. These images of Buddha plainly show him to be Negroid with kinky, coiled hair, a flat nose and thick, full lips.

A British Historian by the name of Godfrey Higgins explains in his book Anacalypsis (1836) how Buddha came from the indigenous “negroes” of ancient India:

“The mountaineers [of India] most resemble Negroes in their countenances and their hair. The natives of the hilly districts of Bengal and Bahar can hardly be distinguished by their features from the modern Ethiopians. All this accords very well with my theory respecting the Black Buddha. It has been observed that the figures in all the old caves of India have the appearance of Negroes. This tends to prove not only the extreme antiquity of the caves but also the original Negro character of the natives.”

This book Anacalypsis (1836) how Buddha came from the indigenous “negroes” of ancient India. Steve, are you familiar with this Book called "ANACALYPSIS?"

Darwin's family tradition was nonconformist Unitarianism, while his father and grandfather were freethinkers, and his baptism and boarding school were Church of England.[27] When going to Cambridge to become an Anglican clergyman, he did not "in the least doubt the strict and literal truth of every word in the Bible".

It's old Victorian understanding Ron, like Darwin. Our understanding is contantly progressing and the question now is why are you so trusting of Godfrey Higgins understanding? Have you ever been to India? Had Godfrey Higgins ever been to India?

Wednesday, December 29th 2021 at 8:46PM

Steve, I have all so learned that everything has a beginning and from that beginning is the bases of what we believe. Godfrey Higgins explains in his book Anacalypsis (1836) how Buddha came from the indigenous “negroes” of ancient India:

“The mountaineers [of India] most resemble Negroes in their countenances and their hair. The natives of the hilly districts of Bengal and Bahar can hardly be distinguished by their features from the modern Ethiopians. All this accords very well with my theory respecting the Black Buddha. It has been observed that the figures in all the old caves of India have the appearance of Negroes. This tends to prove not only the extreme antiquity of the caves but also the original Negro character of the natives.”

You have not proved Godfrey Higgins publications was wrong or overrated to use your term. Steve, my point is, that Buddhism, just like Christianity is open and inclusive to everybody, with the ability to worship and greater understanding then yourself.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
The work of Godfrey Higgins, Anacalypsis, is quite nearly as hard to find as a two-headed chicken -- and it is nearly as normal as one.

I had little hope of actually getting a copy of it by special library loan, but I did. And once I saw it, I knew I wouldn't be able to do much with it -- this monstrosity is composed of two volumes larger than a New York City phone book, with type as dense as the entries.

It cites few sources for its claims, but those it does cite are the sort of things you won't find easily -- anyone wishing to back-check all of Higgins' comments will be in for a real lifetime chore, even if they live in the UK. There is no telling whether the bulk of Higgins' sources are credible or not (though we do have some hints). And to make matters worse, I could only secure it by loan for two weeks.

Steve, do you believe this: Where do you believe humans began?

One of the earliest known humans is Homo habilis, or “handy man,” who lived about 2.4 million to 1.4 million years ago in Eastern and Southern Africa. Others include Homo rudolfensis, who lived in Eastern Africa about 1.9 million to 1.8 million years ago (its name comes from its discovery in East Rudolph, Kenya); and Homo erectus, the “upright man” who ranged from Southern Africa all the way to modern-day China and Indonesia from about 1.89 million to 110,000 years ago.

Let's focus on the “Upright Man” Steve, I want to HIGHLIGHT this again: "Homo erectus, the “upright man” who ranged from Southern Africa all the way to modern-day China and Indonesia from about 1.89 million to 110,000 years ago."

Mr. Robert Powell, you can call me names, but you can't deny these FACTS.

However, in more recent times, DNA evidence as well as anthropological findings have worked together to further add to Darwin’s original ideas. The first human beings are believed to have replaced Neanderthals approximately 150 000 years ago, having been the earliest ancestors of humans on earth. This means that, according to this popular theory, all other mankind on earth originated, at some time in human history, from Africa.

Most scientists believe that the Cradle of Mankind is in East Africa. This is largely because of Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania archaeological and fossilised remains that have been found in significant sites in this part of the vast continent. These include the Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania and Koobi Fora in Kenya.

Is Tanzania or Kenya in The So-Called Africa Asia?

Ron, all my comments I've made on this blog are all because of the same belief. You can't say "The First Buddha Was A Black Man!" The Buddha was made up by the Chinese, the same Chinese who made up Mahayana Buddhisn, meaning the Great Vehicle. The Three Vehicles, aka Hinayana, are said to be the first version of Buddhisn invented. The legend is that Shakyamuni taught all of this in the span of 40 years. That is not possible, so there was no "first Buddha," which is what I've been trying to tell you all along.

Sunday, January 2nd 2022 at 12:18AM

Steve, are you denying these facts Steve"

If you would have watched this video material with any understanding, you would have known that we are talking about a time, 500 years before Christianity and the migration of the Negro east from Africa to places like Inda and China when black Chinese live to this day.

So what if the first Buddha was of Negro decent or not Steve? Isn't it the purpose TO reach Enlightenment?

Ron, when the Lotus Sutra speaks of "supreme perfect enlightenment" it also tells us what is meant by it. I'll find you the passage, I believe it's in chapter 10, The Teacher of the Law.

Steve Williams
Steve, what I asked you to explain, I was referring to your personal experience as well. Yes!!! please, I would love to see that info. After that explain your personal experience.

Monday, January 10th 2022 at 11:53PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
Here is a passage in chapter 10 that references "supreme perfect enlightenment" but I'm still looking for where the emptiness of phenomena is talked about.

“Medicine King, if someone should ask what living beings will be able to attain buddhahood in future existences, then you should show him that all these people are certain to attain buddhahood in future existences. Why? Because if good men and good women embrace, read, recite, expound, and copy the Lotus Sutra, even one phrase of it, offer various kinds of alms to the sutra, flowers, incense, necklaces, powdered incense, paste incense, incense for burning, silken canopies, streamers and banners, clothing and music, and press their palms together in reverence, then these people will be looked up to and honored by all the world. Alms will be offered to them such as would be offered to the thus come one. You should understand that these people are great bodhisattvas who have succeeded in attaining supreme perfect enlightenment. Pitying living beings, they have vowed to be born among them where they may broadly expound and make distinctions regarding the Lotus Sutra of the Wonderful Law. How much more so is this true, then, of those who can embrace the entire sutra and offer various types of alms to it!

Tuesday, January 11th 2022 at 12:28AM
Steve Williams
Ron, my personal experience is that I can expound the Lotus Sutra.

Tuesday, January 11th 2022 at 12:32AM
Steve Williams
Yes, I am asking you to explain your experience.

Tuesday, January 11th 2022 at 12:42AM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
My personal experience is like this Ron, from the 14th chapter, Peacefu Practices.

“Next, the bodhisattva mahasattva should view all phenomena as empty, that being their true aspect. They do not turn upside down, do not move, do not regress, do not revolve. They are like empty space, without innate nature, beyond the reach of all words. They are not born, do not emerge, do not arise. They are without name, without form, without true being. They are without volume, without limits, without hindrance, without barriers. It is only through causes and conditions that they exist, but because of upside-downness, errors are born. Therefore I say that he should constantly delight in viewing the aspect of phenomena as this. This is what I call the second thing that the bodhisattva mahasattva should associate himself with.”

Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism who later became known as the first “The BLACK Buddha,” lived during the 5th century B.C. Gautama was born into a wealthy family as a prince in present-day Nepal.

Wednesday, January 12th 2022 at 9:22AM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
You can't prove that Ron. Like Jesus, Shakyamuni Buddha didn't write anything himself. Every sutra begins with "This is what I heard." Buddhism developed as a group effort.

Wednesday, January 12th 2022 at 9:52AM
Steve Williams
Steve, the question was asked: What is religion did suddartha Gautama start?
Buddhism, the religion that was founded by Siddhartha Gautama, was a privileged man that gave up worldly possessions and material wealth to reach a state of Enlightenment. These two religions are followed by millions of people to this day.

Wednesday, January 12th 2022 at 6:19PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
That's the story Ron. Buddhism is beyond the reach of a single person to develop. That's my position. There was no single "founder."

Thursday, January 13th 2022 at 2:22AM

Ok Steve, so you are free to have your own set of beliefs but throughout history will and have recorded that Buddhism, the religion that was founded by Siddhartha Gautama.

Enjoy yourself Steve in your journey to Enlightenment.

When the Buddha spoke these words, the earth of all the billion lands of the saha world trembled and split open, and out of it emerged at the same instant immeasurable thousands, ten thousands, millions of bodhisattvas mahasattva. The bodies of these bodhisattvas were all golden in hue, with the thirty-two features and an immeasurable brightness.

What color were these bodhisattvas Ron? Were they "black?"

YOUR WORDS: “ Ron, I don't believe in Siddhartha Gautama.”

MY REPLY: Why Steve?

Saturday, January 15th 2022 at 11:28PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
Ron, because I believe in the supernatural Shakyamuni Buddha of the Lotus Sutra.

At that time the emanations of Shakyamuni Buddha from the eastern region, buddhas in lands equal in number to hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, millions of nayutas of Ganges sands, each preaching the Law, had assembled there. And bit by bit the buddhas from the ten directions all came and assembled in this way and were seated in the eight directions. At this time each of the directions was filled with buddhas, thus come ones, in four hundred ten thousand million nayutas of lands.

At this time the buddhas, each seated on a lion seat under one of the jeweled trees, all dispatched their attendants to go and greet Shakyamuni Buddha. Each buddha presented his attendant with a handful of jeweled flowers and said, “Good man, you must go to Mount Gridhrakuta to the place where Shakyamuni Buddha is and speak to him as I instruct you. Say, ‘Are your illnesses few, are your worries few? In spirit and vigor are you well and happy? And are the bodhisattvas and voice-hearers all well and at peace?’ Then take these jeweled flowers and scatter them over the Buddha as an offering, and say, ‘The buddha So-and-so would like to participate in the opening of this treasure tower.’”

All the buddhas dispatched their attendants to speak in this manner. At that time Shakyamuni Buddha saw the buddhas that were his emanations all assembled, each sitting on a lion seat, and heard all these buddhas say that they wished to participate in the opening of the treasure tower. Immediately he rose from his seat and stationed himself in midair. All the four kinds of believers likewise stood up, pressed their palms together, and gazed at the Buddha with a single mind.

Shakyamuni Buddha with the fingers of his right hand then opened the doors of the tower of seven treasures. A loud sound issued from it, like the sound of a lock and crossbar being removed from a great city gate, and at once all the members of the assembly caught sight of Many Treasures Thus Come One seated on a lion seat inside the treasure tower, his body whole and unimpaired, sitting as though engaged in meditation. And they heard him say, “Excellent, excellent, Shakyamuni Buddha! You have preached this Lotus Sutra in a spirited manner. I have come here in order that I may hear this sutra.”

At that time the four kinds of believers, observing this buddha who had passed into extinction immeasurable thousands, ten thousands, millions of kalpas in the past speaking in this way, marvelled at what they had never known before and took the masses of heavenly jeweled flowers and scattered them over Many Treasures Buddha and Shakyamuni Buddha.
At that time Many Treasures Buddha offered half of his seat in the treasure tower to Shakyamuni Buddha, saying, “Shakyamuni Buddha, sit here!” Shakyamuni Buddha at once entered the tower and took half of the seat, seating himself in cross-legged position.

At that time the members of the great assembly, seeing the two thus come ones seated cross-legged on the lion seat in the tower of seven treasures, all thought to themselves, These buddhas are seated high up and far away! If only the thus come ones would employ their transcendental powers to enable all of us to join them there in the air!

Immediately Shakyamuni Buddha used his transcendental powers to lift all the members of the great assembly up into the air. And in a loud voice he addressed all the four kinds of believers, saying, “Who is capable of broadly preaching the Lotus Sutra of the Wonderful Law in this saha world? Now is the time to do so, for before long the thus come one will enter nirvana. The Buddha wishes to entrust this Lotus Sutra of the Wonderful Law to someone so that it may be preserved.”

Steve, on your last reply did not address the question at all. I am talking about who was the first Buddha and you are talking about what Buddha you can trust.

Steve, Gautama Buddha, popularly known as the Buddha (also known as Siddhattha Gotama or Siddhārtha Gautama[note 3] or Shakyamuni), was an ascetic, a religious leader and teacher who lived in ancient India (c. 6th to 5th century BCE or c. 5th to 4th century BCE).[6][7][8][note 4] He is regarded as the founder of the world religion of Buddhism, and revered by Buddhists as an enlightened being,[9] who rediscovered an ancient path to freedom from ignorance, craving and the cycle of rebirth and suffering. He taught for around 45 years and built a large following, both monastic and lay.[10] His teaching is based on his insight into the arising of suffering or dissatisfaction and its ending—the state called Nirvana (lit. vanishing or extinguishing).

Ron, do you want "freedom from ignorance, craving and the cycle of rebirth and suffering?" Do you want Nirvana? Because it is coming for you.
