All the "Greats" before us would say that it all starts with a dream! Dreams include imagination, vision, goals, and plans and can be even bigger than that. Girlfriends, it is time for us to live our dreams. Far too often, we sacrifice our own dreams to support our husbands, partners, children or other family needs. Does this mean we are required to take a 9 to 5 just to pay the bills or submit our lives to department memos and mazes of personalized cubicles? What if we are not 9 to 5ers, what if we are less than motivated by benefit packages and alleged vested interests that may or may not be there at retirement. Do we really have to spend 160 hours per month breathing in recycled air with harsh florescent lightning reeking havoc on your complexions? The answer is NO - it is a choice. Have the courage to step out on faith and go to work doing something you would do for free just because you find it so enjoyable. Gone are the days of waking up to fulfill someone else's dream.
You have the power to create your own happiness. Remember you have multiple desires, interests and talents. It's up to you to reach down to the essence of your core and awaken them - unleash the beast. Never mind you age, never mind your bank account, never mind your past. Make a decision and commit to living your dreams. No more feelings of regret because you've analyzed why you shouldn't or couldn't do it. Stop talking yourself out of every opportunity that comes your way. Step out on FAITH.....
