Said Glenda, the Good Witch (The Wiz). Take control of your life, no one owns it but you. Of course trials and tribulations will arise, but it's all apart of that random game called life. Obstacles are there for you to overcome and have another achievement to write on your wall of success. If you never experience failure how do you know what success looks like. So do not fear failure, embrace it and learn from it. Change the way you think and speak. Hard times aren't just hard times. I have embraced the idea to look at each challenge as a character building opportunity. If you are going to have a new future than you must accept a new beginning.
BROADEN YOUR SCOPE
Okay, how many times in the last month did you give advice to someone on a particular subject? Yes this includes friends and family. Well you sound like a Consultant. For those of you with kids, ever had to plan a birthday party or some special event? Can you say, Event Planner! How about the "to die for" cookies you brought to the office holiday social last year and everyone is still buzzing about them? Move over Betty Crocker and turn up the oven. Are you the fashioneesta of the bunch that can spot a bargain from a mile away? Not many of us have the time to look good on a dime. That's why personal shoppers/stylists are in demand. Most of us have come up with an easier way to do something or orchestrated a quick fix solution. Here's an example, have you ever used doubled-sided tape to keep your bra straps in place---well, someone took it a step further and created a million dollar business called Hollywood Fashion Tape. Here is the last word. Choose something you enjoy or something you feel is missing and turn it into a business.
