'I Read But I Didn't Understand'
In Acts 8:26-39 you'll find the classical story of the Eunuch and Phillip meeting for a
moment of bible study. This was a meeting that didn't have to take place. The Eunuch went to church to 'hear a word from the Lord' from those who had been called to deliver the word. He left church after the benediction and was hungrier for the word then than he was before attending church. The strange thing was that God knew he was not going to be feed at church. He sent Philip, who had not gotten any rest from his very recent Evangelistic journey, down to a position where he would meet the Eunuch for the sole purpose of ministry. Pastors understand that often the Lord would just have us to minister to the folk. In the meeting with the Eunuch Phillip served his need. After ministry had gone forth they departed, never to meet again.
Get all of the learning that is needed and necessary to minister to those whom the Lord has assigned you to.
