The Presidential primaries this year have been historic in many ways. I will not cover them here, but I will share a perspective that I have formed by listening to conversation around our election process and those whom we elect. Some background is necessary here. I grew up within 4 city blocks of Trinity Church where Dr. Jeremiah Wright was senior pastor. I've known him for years. Being unashamably black has always been a point of contention in Americkkka. The people of the lighter hue did one fantastic job in placing a division first between Barack Obama and his "Spiritual Connection," and then attempted to come between him and his wife. This is the same methodology that has been used in and since slavery. True Dat!
My biggest issue is with people in my community who don't have a clue as to what this is about. People, politics is about the "Re-distribution of funds." That means where the money goes. During the "contest" to pick the Democratic nominee, conversation in the Black community went something like this, "It will be interesting to see how this plays out." Really had to keep my mouth shut.
Gang, if politics is about the re-distribution of funds and the presidency is a political office, can you start to make the connection in the power this office holds? The Presidency is the "Highest" political office in the country. Probably has a great influence on policy and where funds are -re-distributed to. I could not imagine the Clinton camp talking about, "It will be interesting to see how this plays out." I can imagine a focused, executable plan to gain and retain the power and control to move funds in the direction that they would like to see them go. (Their Friends)
Now Sarah Pulin has been unwrapped to draw off the Clinton supporters that are mad a Black Man beat her, fair and square. We all seen the attempt to change the rules but that would have killed the Democratic Party forever. I didn't say they were stupid. Sarah Pulin, you are no Hillary Clinton.
People are crying out for us to wake up. I say stay asleep, where one is unaware of what is going on around them. This way you are able to retain that false since of comfort. See, if you ever wake up, you begin to realize what the real nightmare is...YOU!!!!
