Hello Ms. Hatley,

I have nothing against Mr. Stokely Carmichael. However, I want you to fast forward to today and realized that Mr. Carmichael was not the anointed one who would lead Black Americans into sovereignty or complete independence on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Black Americans will inherit a portion of this continent from our ancestors.

So, let us look forward and not backwards.

Tell me what you think.

Mr Watley,

I feature a Black Scholar every day (M-F) - except this weekend because I had to be with family because of a recent death.

Stokely did a great deal in his time and should be celebrated for it. That's the only point.

However, I don't think I understand what you mean by the last few sentences you wrote. Nonetheless, I appreciate the comment.
