Thursday, November 19, 2009 - The Black Scholars Index features Dr. Janice E. Hale, a researcher, author, and education consultant in early childhood education. She has written three books and has consulted with The Children's Television Workshop on Sesame Street and Mister Roger's Neighborhood.

Friday, November 20, 2009 - The Black Scholars Index celebrates bell hook, professor, author, feminist. She has published over 30 books and is currently is Distinguished Professor of English at City College in New York and has appeared in several films. Check out her story, books, and clips.
