"A Circle of One"

Have you ever noticed that a circle has no end. You cannot look at a ring and see beginning or ending unless it is structured by someone who doesn't know how to create a ring. That is what covenant is like. It is timeless it has a beginning but no end. In a time when divorce and faithfulness is greatly unseen, covenant is something I believe we need to be refreshed with the knowledge of. I too have had my moments when covenant seemed a foreign word in my life. I cried about it, wrestled with the faithfulness of it and pretty much had a fall on the floor two year old tantrum seeking it. Then one day I got up. (I won't tell you that was yesterday). But seriously, I got up. I began to think of the ring and how it has no beginning and no end except to the one who created it. The ring starts with a straght line that curves right back into the starting point. That is the way it is with covenant. It goes back to the beginning point and remains the same. Its content has not changed, its value, its strength, it remains totally the same. I have several friends seeking marriage. They want a mate and they want not only a mate but a covenant mate. That is the difference in maturity and youthfulness. See seeking a man may give you a relationship but not necessarily a covenant. Remember the story of Hosea and Gomer, Hosea (Chapter1-3). He married a woman who was unfaithful to him though he was faithful to her. It was symbolic of the church turning away from God but Hosea kept taking her back. He had a covenant heart, she had a relational heart. Covenant keeps and loves, relational love is dependent upon emotions and situations. Hosea represented the circle of one, covenant. His wife Gomer represented the beginning but not the completion. I'm not a Mom but I told my girlfriends first become complete in your life with God. Let him teach you his way of molding a covenant, let him shape you and THEN your mate into a bond that is beyond the eyes and emotions. Allow him to fit the covenant and cause the covenant to fit. See we dont' always know what we need but he does. Imagine your strength and his vision. His viision and your strength. A circle of one. Cohesive oneness that is strengthed by God's hand. When he makes anything, it is good and very good. He knows how to take the ring and mold it (two becoming one) into a blend of harmonious oneness that creates a symphony of praise unto him. See God reveals glory in his work. A walk in his perfecting can bring two into a oneness without end.

Wow such wisdom. Never thought of a circle/ring in this way. Can use this in the ministry to explain God's existence because some of those with finite minds cannot possibly understand and infinite being. Good good post. Thank you.
