Posted By: SARA JOY EDGEMON on September 09, 2009 SOMETIMES SHADOWS BRINGS THE FEARS LIGHTNING FLASHING ALL YOUR YEARS BRINGING CHILLS OF STORIES UNTOLD NOTHING SOLD, BUT YOUR SOUL AND NO ONE HEARS, HURT FELT CRIES SUFFOCATING OVER LIES LOST IN WHYS, OF THINGS YOU SEE WONDERING WHO’S LOVING ME, FOR ME WALKING ALONE IN THE DARK BANDAGES WRAP A BROKEN HEART JUDGING FACES CAUSE A BREEZE WANTING TO SHAKE YOU AT THE KNEES SMILES HIDING WHO THEY ARE BLENDING LIKE A SKY OF STARS BUT LIKE CLOUDS FORMING BEFORE A STORM SIGNS APPEAR, SO YOU’RE FOREWARNED FEELING SOMETHING ISN’T RIGHT WONDERING WHY IT’S ALWAYS A FIGHT WONDER WHEN YOU CAN BELIEVE SOMEONE’S LOVING ME, FOR ME TAKING AWAY MATERIAL TREASURES IT’S PERSONALITIES THAT LAST FOREVER NEVER COSTING, WITH HELPING HANDS WITH OPEN HEARTS THAT UNDERSTAND BUT SOMETIMES WE’RE CRUCIFIED BECAUSE OF THE UNKNOWN WALKING THROUGH A CROWD OF STONES CHANGING FACES IN THE MIRROR BEATEN BY THE THINGS WE HEAR TELL ME WHO CHOSE YOU TO POINT AND WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE, HOW DO YOU KNOW BECAUSE IF YOUR PATH IS THE ONLY WAY HOW WILL YOU CONTINUE TO GROW I WON’T SORROW, UNTRUE FRIENDSHIPS AND I WILL NOT BE TORCHED, BY WHO THEY CAN’T SEE BUT I WONDER IF THEY WILL EVER STOP JUDGING AND START LOVING ME, FOR ME If you enjoyed this article, Join BlackInAmerica.com today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
