Posted By: SARA JOY EDGEMON on December 10, 2009 I SEE YOUR IMAGE, LIKE A GHOST FEELING CHILLS ACROSS MY CHEEK SPARKING EMOTIONS TO FLOW THROUGH ME CAUSING PAIN AS I BEGIN TO WEEP YOU SEE, MY HEART FEELS YOU ARE REAL SO I REACH OUT TO PULL YOU TO ME BUT INTO THE AIR, YOU DISAPPEAR LIKE YOU NEVER KNEW ME NOW I AM LEFT IN A FIGHT BATTLING MY BRAIN TO NOT LET THIS LOSS DRIVE ME INSANE BECAUSE IN EVERYTHING I TOUCH AND EVERYTHING I DO, EVERY SO OFTEN …I TURN AND SEE YOU STANDING THERE LIKE A GHOST IN MY DREAMS REMINDING ME OF ALL THOSE LITTLE THINGS SO I TURN, TO CALL OUT TO, BEG YOU TO STAY BUT YOU ARE ONLY AN ILLUSION THAT IS DRIFTING AWAY IN AND OUT EVERYDAY NO MATTER WHAT I SAY YOU ARE GONE AND YET IN MY MIND YOUR IMAGE IS SO STRONG AS MY SOUL BREAKS DOWN MISSING YOU SO LONG SO IF YOU ARE PLAYING GAMES YOU ARE SO WRONG WITH THIS HIDE AND SEEK TEASING ME WITH YOUR IMAGE AS GHOST WHO DON’T SPEAK BECAUSE I KNOW I’M NOT CRAZY WHEN I FEEL YOU RIGHT THERE WHEN I STAND IN THE MIRROR AND YOUR SMELLING MY HAIR I DO SEE YOUR IMAGE, BUT IT’S ALWAYS LIKE A DREAM YET SO MUCH REALER THEN A DREAM CAN SEEM BECAUSE MY HEART FEELS YOU ARE REAL AND I SEE YOU RIGHT THERE SPEAKING WITH LOVE BY THE GLOW IN YOUR STARE SO I REACH OUT TO GRAB YOU TO PULL YOU TO ME BUT INTO THE AIR, YOU DISAPPEAR LIKE YOU NEVER KNEW ME If you enjoyed this article, Join BlackInAmerica.com today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
