Children are precious souls and all must become aware of this fact in order to change the down spiraling of the children today. First, the communication link between children and adults are closed and it should be noted that the children have had to endure much from this gap because they are born with the natural capacity to communicate and love unconditionally, which is true communication. Society, especially in the western culture, has become accustomed to viewing children as insignificant when it comes to the stresses that adults themselves undergo. The children today are stressed, angry, confused and depressed. One of the first things that can be done to turn this around is to listen to them! Listen with eyes and ears. Treat them as if you are having a conversation with someone you deem as very important such as the President, or your pastor or your parent because they are more important than most adults acknowledge. They are yearning to be nurtured, loved, understood and appreciated. More than that, they are crying out for individuality, something most adults do not know about. Our society has become a society of valued-based ignorance. What I mean by this is we only value superficial things and all that has meaningful value we have come to ignore as a society, and unfortunately our children fall into this category of not being valued. How do you value your children? Children need to know that you are listening and adults need to know that they need to listen. Our children today are born with a high level of awareness and sensitivity towards spiritual things. They can teach us much if we allow them to become the teachers that they are. They are teachers of nature and the nature of how things work in the spirit realm because their minds have not been subjected to the deep manipulation that we as parents have been subjected to. Before things went wrong we were to teach them the things of nature and prepare them for their journey on the path of life but we became busy under the oppression of trying to make ends meet. This in itself caused mental stress where we stop connecting with our children. We became too busy with working to make money and when we aren’t working we are too tired from worry to connect. A major transformation of the way we parent needs to happen now. Our children are tired, bored and destructive and it is our responsibility to turn the spiral upwards for them and ourselves.
