Processed vs Natural... What's your preference?

When it comes to hair, which are you most in favor of and why? Natural or Unnatural

(i.e. dreads, afro, perm, weaves, braids, extensions, etc.)

I like it when people pay attention to their hair, all the hairdo's are great, except maybe the multi-colored ones. Why would a person want green and orange streaks in their head?

Hello Helen,

Perhaps, some people like multi-colored hair styles to be different and they personally like it.

I think it's sad that most of us grew up hating our hair because it wasn't "straight"

Our Creator gave us "curly" hair and we have been too lazy/too unhappy to learn how to take care of it properly

Instead we put chemicals on our scalp and these chemicals "burn" our hair into submission

We are left with an "imitation" hairdo

Who are we imitating?

We complain about our hair "not growing" when in fact, our hair will grow down our backs when we learn how to style it properly and quit setting it on FIRE with chemicals that damage it at the root

Many of us lack Self-love and Self-acceptance

ARE YOU READY TO ACCEPT YOURSELF AND LOVE THE HAIR YOUR CREATOR GAVE YOU?

If not, you are looking at an IMITATION

GET REAL WITH YOURSELF if and when you get the courage

It's another step toward FREEDOM

my preference is natural.... my 10 yrs old son wears twists... I have been doing that to his hair since he was born....and Jecoliah it is down his back....

I have a relaxer... I like the ability to change hair styles.. color... length.. My hair grows relatively fast... so this helps with frequent changes
NO WEAVES... the thought of gluing hair in my head or on my hair is scarey
