New York State’s largest Black Chamber Annual One Night Only Gala Benefit Gala Draws Who’s Who Across Diverse Sectors Honoring Diversity

Long Island, New York – On December 5, 2019 the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. New York State’s largest African American Chamber hosted their Annual One Night Only Gala Benefit Gala at the Uniondale, Marriott.
The Annual One Night Only Benefit Gala attracts Who’s Who Across Diverse Sectors and this year’s gala theme was Honoring & Supporting Diversity across Diverse Sectors.

The gala also highlighted the chamber’s achievements of being named to City and State Magazine’s Top Long Island 100 Power List and the New York District Office of the United State’s Small Business Administration 2019 Small Business Champion.
The One Night Only Benefit Gala is held annually during the month of the December and draws a Who’s Who list of attendees from from diverse sectors such has government, banking, finance, non-for-profit, construction, small Business owners, large corporations, health care, civic leaders, community leaders, professionals services, etc.

Here is what City & State Magazine had to say about Phil Andrews, President, Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. – “Black Enterprise Media dubbed Phil Andrews “Mr. Economic Empowerment,” a nod to his ongoing work to recognize and promote minority-owned small businesses on Long Island. A former president of 100 Black Men of Long Island – an organization dedicated to fostering educational and economic opportunities – Andrews has spent much of his career serving his community. He is on the board of the Interfaith Nutrition Network, which serves hungry and homeless Long Islanders.”

2019 Honorees Annual One Night Only Benefit Gala Honorees! The Chair of this year’s gala was LIAACC’s Nassau County Director Valerie Anderson Campbell and the Co-chair was Elizabeth Wellington, LIAACC’s Nassau County Deputy Director. The 2019 Annual One Night Only Benefit Gala was held at the Uniondale, Marriott which is located at 101 James Doolittle Blvd, Uniondale, New York, 11553. The Gala started at 7:00 pm and ended at 11:00 pm. The gala included dining, dancing, entertainment, vendor display, and an awards presentation to prestigious organizations and individuals across diverse sectors in society.
