Thank you for highlighting African American History....Ms. Porscha Garner.... ...I am nearly 80 years old...and I was preparing in segregated, unequal High School for University. My University choices were very limited in region of America's segregated-COLORED-world. ...I believe #1 USA Constitutionalist President Baraaka Hussein Obama, #2 USA Constitutional President Abraham Lincoln and #3 USA Constitutionalist President Lyndon Baines Johnson...all have done great things...for ALL Americans ...LBJ a lifelong COLORED'whiteSupremist' though in the 1960s decided to break from the PAST and CHANGE the racistLUNACY of his State Texas and USA... In Texas; January 1965, President Lyndon Johnson told Congress that higher education was "no longer a luxury but a necessity" ... to provide financial assistance for students in postsecondary education." He sought to create an advisor council to review teacher training programs and to create a National Teacher Corps, which would recruit teachers to serve in low-income areas and train teachers through internships. Other provisions of the bills included financial aid, scholarships, work study, and library enhancements. In signing the Higher Education Act of 1965 into law, President Johnson said that the act, along with the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965: would spread "the roots of change and reform" ..Most of US 80+ Year old African American University Graduates owe our success to this grand olde boy. Is Post Secondary Education For All Americans - The 1965 Higher Education Act A Federal Student Loan Fiasco... At Our Expense part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_ps66UTpE... My name is Porscha LaDonna Garner (maiden name Johnson). I am a tutor teacher professional of all grades (K-12) normal and special education. My college education was financed with student loans that I was encouraged (by all) to use to a total of $60,000. In my ignorance I did not factor in fees or interest or bad advice and my debt now exceeds $80,000. For the next 15 weeks (see count down) I am going to tell my story here in 15 parts (with weekly video chapter updates) while I ask for donations to liquidate my debt. With your help by the end of this 15 weeks, I will be debt free. It occurs to me that student debt is benefiting banks, schools, etc... every one except the students. What we the students are left with is insecurity, dead end jobs, and life-long servitude. How bogus is that? Please donate and help me out of my desperate situation. Please donate and help me liquidate the student debt I incurred in my ignorance. Please help me stop the bankers and education charlatans from continuing to make me pay and pay and pay.
