Black History Month 2022 series SUBJECT "..black missionary pioneers to Africa who came from the United States and Caribbean islands!.." diaspora..the dispersion of the Jewish people beyond Israel. ...OR A diaspora is a scattered population whose origin lies in a separate geographic locale. Wonderful question, Robert. Just as the Jews were dispersed from their original homeland, so were Africans dispersed from their homeland to various parts of the world including United States, the Caribbean, South America and parts of Europe during the slave trade. What excites me these days is the way in which these various people groups have come together and rediscovered their roots. This video series offers four examples of how people of African descent from the states and from the Caribbean helped pioneer the return of black people to mother Africa.
