Posted By: MIISRAEL Bride on April 09, 2025 Dear Gardeners: I write you from Memphis, Tennessee and I will definitely share you with the rainy days of just the first week. Three days it rained heavily with thunderstorms and lightning. In addition, there were flooding streets and downed trees. I didn’t get it my area of town but I did see it on local news. Close by cities were hit with several tornadoes. In some cases tragedies and losses struck. Well after all the rain I had to replant my pots of zinnias. The rain washed out my total seedlings. I saw only 3 of the whole lots! It’s been so much water and cool weather that I’ve had no choice but to replant again. If you’re doing gardening I hope you can see you plantings up and growing. This Spring is going to be a really rainy season. I just have to see what happens. I don’t think it’s gonna be too long before hot weather hits. I really need to work out doors. Lawn and painting are calling me by name. Indeed, since retirement I feel like a little old lady. The aches and pains won’t let me do what I used to do. But I still feel well enough and mobility is not so bad. 😂. Love you too. So tell me how does your gardens grow? Mine grows with lots of love ❤️ Sincerely, MIISRAEL Hometown Memphis, Tennessee If you enjoyed this article, Join BlackInAmerica.com today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
