Something to look forward to
I look around my neighborhood and ask myself "what are we giving our African American children for their future?" What legacies and history do we need to instill in our children's minds and hearts to ensure that their heritage doesn't falter and die, so that they can remember how great we really are. I want actions not just thoughts, something tangible such as books, lessons, plays, teachings, tradiditons, etc...let's hear it....even if it's a family tradition or a cultural tradition.
